For those familiar with the mock tournament I made a while back, this will be the same ball game. I'm also considering making this a series if this is popular enough. This also won't have any stupid gimmick like my other complex tournaments that make entering it annoying, so let's hope this goes well.

GENERAL RULES:
- Stock HW
- 24 Entrants
- One entry per person (However, if there isn't enough interest, then I will open secondary signups.)
- If a Bye-bots is needed, then it will be Emergency filling in the empty slots
- I'm willing to AI if you are not able to, but don't complain what I AI'd your bot
- You cannot enter unless your bot is received and accepted
- You cannot try to find loopholes in the rules
- If this becomes popular enough to be a series, then the main winner and the rumble winner can enter an extra entry in the next tournament.

BUILDING RULES:
- General stock rules apply
- Heavyweight bots only (399.1 - 800.0 kg)
- You cannot use BFE, AAM, Hax, txt file editing, etc.
- AI parts are allowed, including the 140 cm extender
- No cheatbot2 parts at all.
- The only custom components that are allowed are from 090901's and/or Sage's Skin Pack
- Bots must have at least one wheel, but it must show controlled movement
- Multibots are banned
-Interchangeable weapons and forms are allowed, but you MUST PM me what form you want to use in the match. (or it will be randomly selected.)
- Jokebots, replicas, IRL style bots are not allowed
- You can update your bot as much as you please until signups end

BATTLE RULES:

- 3 minute length matches
- Starcore AI Arena (Hazards on)
- If a robot havoks once which costs the match, that bot gets a free restart, if it happens again, that bot is disqualified

MATCH RULES:
There will be three different formats for the matches, everything from the battle rules applies here.

Also when was there a gravity mod? I asked about it a while ago but there wasn't one.

Fixed a few other mistakes I may have made. Also I was thinking of getting this ready in late December or early January. Is that alright or should I wait a bit longer?

I know I asked this before, but I was thinking that I could get this signups started somewhere around my Christmas break. Any objections to this getting started in about a month?

Only if your Christmas break is in twenty-nine Julys from now.

I know I said I would wait a bit longer, but checking my schedule and the votes, I sent a PM to Craaig to get this in signups.

I know I said I would take a long break before hosting another tournament, but I'm just getting this out there so I can see what people think of this before I officially start in a few months. For those familiar with the mock tournament I made a while back, this will be the same ball game. I'm also considering making this a series if this is popular enough. This is now a signups topic and the rules above may not change. You have a year. :)
Sorry this took so long, had a hectic schedule myself this weekend.

Thank you very much Craaig, and now...

Signups are now open for the taking.

They'll close when the completely fill, but if they don't, even with the secondary signups, Emergency will be the bye-bot for the matches.

How do I sign up, exactly?
Well, Craaig made a tutorial for this a long time ago whish helped me out.

1. Read the requirements of the tournament you wish to enter, noting weight class, game type and any restrictions.

2. Built a bot suitable to these requirements.

3. Leave the botlab, and in Team HQ, click the robot once, and then press export.

4. The bot will be exported to the 'Robot Designs' folder of your RA2 folder.

5. Put the .bot file into a .zip file - most Windows OS can make .zip folders.
-ALTERNATIVE: Use winRAR to put the file into a .rar file. After installing the free winRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)) program, right click the .bot file, and click 'Add to *botname*.rar'.

6. Go to the GTM File Host (https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/page,page4749.html (https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/page,page4749.html)) and upload the .zip or .rar file you just created.

7. The uploader will give you a line of code. Select this code, right-click and copy.

8. Go to the tournament signups page (ENSURE THE TOURNAMENT IS IN THE SIGNUPS STAGE FIRST, AND NOT DISCUSSION, AND ALSO THAT IT IS NOT FULL) and click the message icon (https://gametechmods.com/forums/Themes/xmas/images/im_off.gif) to send the host (the first poster, who runs the tournament) a personal message.

9. In this personal message, right-click and paste the code from earlier. Add any relevant information if you feel necessary, remembering to state why you are sending it in either the subject or message.

10. Send the message, and hope it all goes well! :D

Edit:
Actually, Craaig made a newer tutorial which has a few different steps, but it's just as simple. You can find it here. (https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=17179)

And seeing this post reminded me I made that original one, so I popped that older one onto the end of the new one (as it's a little more complex and less picturey). Thanks for that :P

Please enter guys. I do have a deadline planned and that could happen anytime. It could happen in 6 weeks, it could happen in 9 months, or it could be the very next day. You never know, so if you want to enter, always be ready.

I need an interesting idea on what to enter. It'll be an hybrid, of course, or a rare bot-type, but I don't have any other ideas other than a boring Grinding Noise clone.

edit: Oh wait now I have an idea

Okay, I probably should have specified this but I'm at least hoping to get 12 entrants before I move on to secondary signups. In case I only get 12 bots, I probably will do the tournament anyway, but I should contact Craaig if that's okay.

All righty then. I'm going to say this now. On Saturday, I've got IRL plans that will pretty much leave me working to the point where I will be very busy, so If I do happen to get some entries, I might not get to them as quickly as I normally do.

Well, I wanted to wait a bit longer, but looking at my calendar, I think I might as well do this now.

Secondary Signups are now open!

This means you now can enter up to two robots now. If Craaig will let me do this, I can put up my secondary entry on the first page.

Got Tibsy's bot now. Gonna take a look at it later.

Okay, 090901's entry and The Ounce's second entry is accepted. Mr AS's first entry is fine, his second however, is a massive havok bomb whenever it spins at full speed, So it's got a problem. The AI might fix this though. Everything else will be potentially AI'd.

We got a full house everybody, so signups are closed!

However, I'm going to do something different. Since I did not expect them to fill up right now, when I have a busy schedule, it's gonna be a bit before the SBV thread goes up. Here's what I'm gonna do, I will give the entrants 48 hours as of now to send in updates for those who want to and to give me a bit of time. Like The Ounce's update for his second bot. That's taken care of.
