This is such an awesome tourney, I'm surprised that people are not jumping in to compete.

I wonder if some are just having problems wiring up the hover engines? or maybe they just dont want to download custom components? hmmm.

It seems mainly the more conventional tournaments are more popular right now.
(Only reason I haven't yet entered is I have a save-me-a-spot so I can keep working on my entry a little more)

The reason I haven't entered is because I just can't think of anything!

dragonsteincole's entry accepted.

Think this might be a big part of the problem.  A lot of the normal thinking process gets thrown out the window when everythings gonna be floating around. All bots are moving at the same speed, wedges are pointless (unless i'm missing something), flippers as well, Gutrippers and rammers will probably be non-existant.

That being said, the entries so far are pretty cool, looking forward to the rest of em.

The reason I haven't entered is because I just can't think of anything!

Build something that doesn't work on a grounded design.  Like a Galactus-type VS, or a cartoonishly huge hammer (no need for stabilizers!), or a massive flail HS that could never drive straight on the ground.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

That he did. Most unexpected bot so far.  Couple of days left for you stragglers, but to be honest, I'm going to be extremely busy over the next couple of weeks, so you'll probably have at least a few days of leeway,

Really? only 8 entrants at this point? This is such an awsome tourney I thought spots will be filled right away! People just need to try something new. It will be fun i think.

Yes, this is quite underwhelming.

About this tournament... only thing I am concerned with ('cause the mighty Naryar fears nothing) is my spinner being stopped. Pretty sure I can outweapon most people here, but the single motor's torque isn't very good in DSL 2.1, and the spinner tends to stop easily.

Maybe I should send a special AI so it doesn't pushes too much.

Officially, entry is now closed.  But, next few days are hectic with running a spookhouse and playin some shows, so if you send a bot before I post the splash, i'll let you squeek in.  Make it quick though

I want to enter, but this laptop doesn't have RA2. Hope I can get it in soon.

Allright one and all, Tonight I work until around 3 am. When I get home, I'm going to be finishing up what needs to be finished to get this ready and splash will be posted soon after, barring unforseen circumstances of course.  So this is your rock bottom last opportunity to squeek in.
