But I believe click said this is just a nice lickle summer tourney, so i'm k with that, and a stock MW BBEANS.
Still, haven't voted, coz they both seem like quite good ideas.

Well prepare to be cool then... after Ironbot/Throwback I will do BBEANS7, which I've decided will be stock LW/MW/HW. Three separate 32-bot brackets and competitors are allowed to pick up to two of them to enter. Kind of like Battlebots with multiple weight divisions. Or I could do three 64-bot brackets with single elimination to cut down on the number of videos, since having multiple bots in other weight classes somewhat eliminates the need for a second chance in a loser's bracket.

In related news it looks like Ironbot and Throwback are both popular. If there was a clear majority for one of them I would do that... but I think it will come down to my own personal preference. I'll have to run a quick Ironbot test run and see how much work it is and whether the fights get too boring late in the tournament or not.

I like the BBEANS 7 idea. A good solution. I think that 3 64-bot brackets with single elim would work better personally.

When do signups close? i can't play RA2 until the 6th of august, so can u make it so i can fit within a 3-day time limit?

Edit: would u guys help me? i've only played DSL, so can someone help me find out which weapons are the best besides razors via the ratio hp/kgs? (i think razors are great weapons, but if they break in ironbot, your screwed. CURSE YOU 1000HP!)

Ah, that's good to hear, then. Might give me an excuse to build a pure flipper in stock like in old times :3
