I would say a walker is a robot that does not use wheels or weapons as a means of propulsion.

Yes.

For maximum realism on mine, could I use a lifter motor? I've had a good idea for crushing weaponry.

Thanks, that's great. And if it doesn't work, I could always adapt it into a lifter instead...

Why the pointless rule regarding a sponsor decal?

Because, in my opinion, real robots should have a sponsor decal.
This Tourney is turning out to be a complete joke. Laggy Arena, must have a Sponsor Decal, allowing AI parts, what's next? "You must take a picture of your self standing next to the robot"
Just keep it simple.

Although with the arena business, if lag does become a problem, I'd suggest using the skinned Battlebox from the old BB AI pack. That's not too laggy from what I remember.

I don't think you should let GF93 use the motor. No offense intended GF93, but if you allow that, you have to allow anyone else who wants to use cheatbot2 components and gives a reason, else it's not fair.
My above post explains everything about everything.

OK. I'll agree with you, just for the sake of fairness.

I'll move this to signups.

Heh, great. My chance to build a cool realistic design using a burst motor that isn't even that powerful (More intending to use it for a combined lifting/crushing weapon) comes, then it's dashed again.

Marvellous  :/

It's nothing against you, it's just we've got to be consistent, else we open a whole can of worms.

Maybe so...it's just this little issue- how are you supposed to make a realistic flipper/lifter/crusher with a bunch of pathetically weak DSL burst motors? With one of the regular ones rigged like an IRL flipper, you'd barely even lift a lightweight.

How about this as a rule: 'Cheatbot2 parts will be considered, but individual cases must be suggested and discussed with Freeziez before the bot is submitted'?

That's a good idea- I remember doing that with Badnik in the original Replica Wars.

That's where I got my inspiration.

On a side note, I'll be uploading your BTTB 4 match shortly.

Ah, OK.

And that sounds good too- as long as I don't get thrashed too badly like what happened when I came up against Sage (almost like pitting Chaos 2 against Twn Tyrn), I should be fine. But then again, beating Snow Miser might be good too.

But I'll have guidelines...?

Like anything overpowered or tweaked too much (like Judge bursts) won't be allowed.

Not necessarily- it depends on the validity of certain parts. For instance, you could use the Judge motor for say, a powerful flipper. However, you can't use loads and loads of Judge axe heads for a weapon- that would just be silly.
So it's yes to some parts, and no to others- you just need to check with Freezie if it's alright.
