Hello again!

First off, thanks to all who watched and took part in Banter Wars 1.5! The final can be found here:

So, the next step is Banter Wars Series 2! This time, I'm going full production mode! It's going to take a long time to creat the series, but I'm hoping it's going to be a huge improvement on previous episodes. This will be a thread for feedback, updates and just generally anything to do with the new series!

I'm afraid not! Filming has started.

Keep your eyes open for submissions openings for Series 3 though!

Honestly man, the observer bot is really poorly done. In the 3rd fight you righted a bot that was out of the match. I understand the desire to prevent typical RA2 pushing matches, but the current solution is worse than just editing them out I feel.

Badger it's meant to keep the fights going and if the robot is put in a position where it can't move multiple times it will leave it. It's not like any other generic forgettable GTM tournament there not all try hard for starters it's a LOT more unpredictable

I'm sorry you feel that way! The robot was righted because the series is meant for entertainment, and the game was losing that. The whole point of the Observabot is to keep battles going at a reasonable pace (or try to, anyway!)

I hope you enjoyed the episode despite the Observabot!

Based on the recent heat and the performance of my robot (which was edited heavily without my knowledge or consent), I believe that AHOG has no intention of running a "fair and balanced" competition. If that's what you signed up for, prepare to be disappointed.

Look Badnik... I'm sure you may feel like you've been rudely kicked out of the competition, but the fact of the matter is that you lost, we all loose a lot of things, I'm sure you've lost your fair share of GTM tournaments, we improve our robots by failing and seeing what went wrong, granted that the Observabot was being unfair pushing you around when it should be unbias, but if you look around at other sports, there is always one mistake or one bias ref/judge that screws the potential of someone or a team that could have surely won it! Maybe if you add a srimech to it next year it could probably be a lot better and when the Observabot tries pushing your robot around and if it makes a mistake you can correct yourself and then go and attack it. Mabye ask AHOG for a grudge match in 2.5 should you chose to compete again, still was fun to see you knock Spyder's Lights out and Take out most of Facicious Goose's weapon
