Title: [Stock HW/IF MW] Mr. Applesauce's Double Feature

After finishing the last few grudge matches of LvD2, I'll begin on hosting these two tournaments at the same time:

BUILDING RULES
-Stock HW
-No BFE, OBJRA2, CF, etc. If you don't know what these stand for, you probably don't have to worry about it.
-No custom components, with the exception of strictly aesthetic edits.
-Due to the nature of the tourney, if I can't AI your robot with omni, eternalflame or popup, I won't accept it.
-No multibots either.
-Your bot must show some sort of controlled movement. I will be testing for this, but I am generally lenient about it.
-Failing the controlled movement test will result in any infringing entries being rejected, you must replace your entry with something more stable/controlled.
-Smartzones do not count as weight if it pushes your robot above the weight limit. I will be using smartzones that weigh 0.1kg.
-Once accepted, you are allowed to update/change your bot(s) once and only once.
   -Updates can be anything from changing a weapon to sending a different bot entirely.
-Any obvious attempts to counteract or otherwise exploit a loophole in the rules will be automatically DQ'd.
-I reserve the right to reject extremely low effort robots. Example. (http://i.imgur.com/VUcia45.png)
-I will enter only if there's an entry spots remaining after signups are closed. My entry will be:

-While you are not required to AI your bots, I highly recommend it to speed up the pre-SBV process on my end. I would really appreciate it! Just be aware that I will only incorporate the variables from binding lines sent to me.

I know this is slightly off-center than how I would like it to be and it's not drawn to scale, but that's not the point. The light gray square is where bots where be placed. That area will be the about same size of the Combat Arena, but slightly smaller. The starting positions will be numbered where bots will start and the squares are slightly larger than the squares in the Containment Cube. The White area is the OOTA zone which be as large as the ones from the BBEANS Arena V2. The walls are as tall as the ones inside the BBEANS Arena, but will slightly wider. The Dark gray squares are solid walls and corners for in and out of the arena.

So is this just the BBEANS Arena V2 with all hazards out of sight and bigger? One would think that, but that's when the corners come in. Let's get a closer shot now shall we?

These corners will be on the walls of the arena and will feature the hazards of the arena. The dark gray box in the top right will be another wall that you can't flip over. The light gray boxes will contain diamond spikes larger than the ones in the Compressor Arena and slightly smaller than the size of the ones's in the Containment Cube and be attached on the arena wall. This will make flipping out bots a little more difficult. You also may be noticing the random circle near the corner mentioned earlier. That was intentional. This will feature a massive hammer like the Pulverizers in the Battlebox and is compared to them, they will be bigger and meaner than before. The corner hammers will NOT mess around and it will hurt.


So yeah, that's my idea for a possible arena. I don't really have a name for it yet, but one will come soon. If someone could actually create this arena to a reality, that would be awesome. However, I would also greatly appreciate it if someone who is experienced in making arenas could teach me how to make one for myself. It's like the old saying: "If you give a man to fish, he'll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he'll eat for life." If anyone has on minor improvements on adding to it on what would make it cooler, that would be great.

-2 minute matches
-Upon entering, you get to select one of the following 『STAND』abilities:

-I will attach 3 cannons onto your robot, each firing projectiles at the opponent. This adds an extra 15kg onto your robot that will not count toward the weight limit.
-After a minute has passed, time will stop for 5 seconds. The opponent bot will stop moving and the match timer will freeze during this stopped time. This procs twice per match. One important note: components can be ripped off, but a chassis can't be completely destroyed (it's control board can be put in the red, however).
-Weapon HP is increased by 10%, with weapon damage increasing by 5%.
-A secondary robot will be included with your primary robot, to distract the opponent. It has very low HP, a quick robot should be able to take it out in a few seconds, but it'll be enough for you to get a hit in.
-All of your motors will operate with an added 25% efficiency.
-Your batteries will have increased efficiency, providing 25% more constant output and lasting 50% longer than usual.
-The opponent's gravity is reduced by 15%, making them easier to get airborne and worsening thier wedge.
-You are automatically granted 5000 points at the beginning of the match, making it easier to win by points.
-Chassis HP is increased by 25%.

(note: I'll give these names for convenience sake before this goes into signups)

-Your choice will be represented by an icon on the splash. If you don't choose one, I will choose one randomly. I'll come up with names and the icons at a later date.
-Other than that, standard double-elimination bracket fare. Best 2 of 3.

HAVOK RULES
-Occasional, minor havok is counted as controlled movement as long as it is not constant (i.e. you cannot turn without going airborne).
-If your bot is suspected of causing a game-altering havok, the match will be restarted once. If it happens again during the match, the offending bot will forfeit the match, no exceptions.
-If RA2 crashes to desktop an excessive amount of times during a match, the result will be determined by a coinflip. I wouldn't count on this happening, however.

And this tournament will sort the best from the rest, in search of the GTM Battle Wars Champion.

Battles will take place in the bulletproof terror-dome that is the Battle Wars Arena

Featuring the Pulverizer, the Spike Pit, and the corner spikes that I didn't include in the picture for some reason

And that's not the only thing contestants will have to deal with!
Each fight will feature one of our House Robots, controlled by a human, which the contestants have been programmed to ignore.

The format is as follows. There will be 6 heats of 6 robots, for a total of 36 entrants.
The heat will consist of 2 3-way melees, followed by a round robin between the 4 that qualify - 3 points for a KO and 2 for a WBP. The 2 robots with the most points will go into the Heat Final.
The Heat Winners will progress to the Final episode, where the same format from the heats will take place.

BUILDING RULES:
-Ironforge
-Strict DSL-S Building Style
-MW Weight Limit - up to 200kg (not including a maximum of 4 free IF ballasts)
-No Clusterbots
-CF and BFE not allowed for enhanced realism, as long as IRL guidelines are still adhered to.
-No cheatbot2, no custom components aside from DSC's IRL Components Pack (Extender reskins).
-No maximums of ANY of components. What do you think this is, DSL?
-Skinned components permitted as long as you submit a separate style for the component.
-Interchangeable weapons are not permitted due to the nature of the episodic format
-No weaponized wheels (i.e. crawlers). Discs may be allowed for wheels as long as no weapons are attached to the edges.

To help this tournament be a true event to remember, please, consider entering a robot never seen in any other tournament, whether the robot is a MW by design or an upgraded LW/downgraded HW. When I gave an unlimited weight limit for the House Robots, I received some amazing, unique designs. Let's do the same in the MW category :D
A nice theme is also encouraged! Skin your bot, give it some real personality, then we can make the episodes something not only RA2 fans will enjoy, but Robot Combat fans in general, and show the entire community how great GTM is.

ENTERING REGULATIONS:
-Entries rejected due to non-adherence to rules will not be guaranteed a place if the tournament is filled before a fix is sent. You have 1 chance to update a rejected entry, even if signups are not filled after the second failure.
-I reserve the right to decline any robot for any reason, including if I don't think your bot is 'DSL-S' enough.
-No updates
-36 entries, maximum.
-Any robots sent before signups open will be rejected and must be resent when signups open.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
-Matches will be 3 minutes in length in the Battle Wars 20XX Arena.
-The bracket will be largely similar to Robot Wars 2016, with 6 heats of 6 robots instead of 5 heats of 8.
 - Round 1 - 2 3-way melees 4 bots go through
 - Round 2 - Round Robin between all 4 qualified entrants. 3 points for a KO, 2 for a WBP.
 - Heat Final - The top 2 bots in the league table go into the Heat Final, and the winner of this progresses into the Final Episode.
-Each match will contain a House Robot. The House Robot, controlled by myself, will go wherever they please, because that's how I roll. I will not be entering due to controlling the House Robots. The AI have been programmed not to attack the House Robot unless the other opponent has been defeated.
-I will be judging based on in-game points, which any host worth their salt uses.

Both tournaments of this double feature look good and have the right amount of creamy memes (More for Grogs adventure, but less for BattleWars). But knowing that it's both in two meta-games I'm not proficient in, I may give them a good go. Besides, not only I'll learn something, but might as well give another meta-game a try for BattleWars. Also, you should of called BattleWars:  Extreme BattleWar Games-Arama World Series Challenge Live. If this title doesn't work, I challenge one of you to come up with something better
