Does indeed look epic. I'd probably lose the axe heads myself and extend the swords out further.

My first HW rammer, kinda a Warmachine clone. 1 black and caster armor. I'll redo that ramplate placement later so they cover more of the chassis.

The BS has been improved a bit by making the extenders longer and widening the stance. Still not good enough IMO but atleast it can kill some stuff now.

You can't get shinies on there?

Looks good, I would try to get top AND bottom armor though, for a bit of popup protection.  Or else just swap the ram plates for moar weapons.

It has top and bottom armor, and no shinies cuz the of the casters on the bottom. ramplate placement has been changed and the bottom casters are now thicker since then.

By thicker, do you mean more densely positioned? 'cause going from a 10cm to a 20cm, for instance, seems pointless to me. They're invincible anyway, and if anything it's just going to lift your wheels off the ground. Unless you move them up into the chassis to protect the sides, is that what you've done?

By thicker, he just meant thicker (10cm to 20cm). And caster armor isn't invincible (a lot of my popups can KO Spin Doctor and Maelstrom in one hit). Caster armor does provide excellent protection when it is thicker.

some pics of the updated rammer and bottom spinner

ramplates cover more of the chassis, thicker bottom casters, and a little bit of aligning on the axes. 20 axes

wider stance, doesn't topple over as easily as the old one.

and this

398.2, dsa, two ddts with 4 razors each, one black and blue snapper wedges. threw this together, i'm pretty surprised the wedges came out good (on par with vanquish). it's not really done yet, still some stuff i want to try out (less razors for faster swing, more reach, more concentrated weapons and other stuff)

Karbonis, a piston popup. 796.something, 8 razors, 2 airtanks and 2 blacks. Pretty wedgy and holds up well against HSes.

For starters it looks great. I love the Battleaxe/Samurai combo. My question is are the pistons and DDT's wired to fire at the same time? And if so, how far under the opponent do you then have to be to score an effective hit?

The DDTs and pistons use separate buttons, ddts fire first then the pistons.

yeah it's kinda like MAXIMUM mixed with Pulse.
