Damn, both of these are fantastic.

Are Megalodon's axe heads trappers or decorative?

50/50. i'm gonna have to try and find a way of making a more effective trapper.

whats the idea behind the slanted back of megalodon? I did something similar with electron but in the opposite direction

the back is slanted so it doesnt get stuck on its back.

i like how this one turned out. does well against anything except hses and probably crawlers. the weapon motors are usually knocked off after the icepicks fall off although there might be a better way of protecting the motors. wedges are good.  2wd, 1 black.

you could rotate the motors a turn or two. that would protect them nicely.

22 razors (2 are static), 2 blacks, 2 hpzs and 2 regular zteks for drive, dsa, yada yada yada
for bttb v. i tried to keep the small weapon radius and hexagonal chassis of the original but the results were just so i ended up with this. at least it retains the rubber wheels and green snapper wedges...

3 bots

plastic and nifty. this should have been made a long time ago. pretty much a quark clone (just like the original) but with a weapon breaker and no havok. it's invertible when the plow gets knocked off.

another rebuild of a really old bot. i love mehve too much so i jacked its 4 plow setup, and added a wedge to make it a bit different. dsa, 1 black. it's built off of anchors if you're wondering

don't recall anyone making a popup/poker hybrid at the mw level so i took a stab at it. it's pretty good and despite the razors on the piston sticking out a bit they still pack a punch. i do have a couple of kgs left over so i could try to see if i can have those razors completely concealed while keeping the bot under the weight limit. 1 black, 1 airtank, dsa. the piston is attached to a snapper in the back if you're wondering

All of these are absolutely lovely.

How effective is the popup/poker?

I too wonder about the effectiveness of the last one, considering the weapons probably don't hit the target at the same time, as well as the exposed front.  Still think the idea is interesting.

Messala II reminds me more of my Protostar rather than Quark, but at least you managed to make the design somewhat invertible.

Love the VS.  Don't know if that wedge is effective, but it's certainly necessary.

Wait. People made Poker/Popup hybrids before? Since when? Nice pun by the way. ;)

Anyway, they all look cool. Can the VS self-right?

the popup/poker hybrid is pretty good, it can take out stuff like the updated fury (the one with 15 maces) without too much problems. i could try a true popup configuration however and see if that's more effective. the vs can't self right but it's really stable.

248.9, 2 pinks, dsa
another rebuild of an old bot. generic af but peep the batteries. i somehow got them to stick out the top of the chassis a bit (the chassis is one tick lower than the minimum height for placing pinks in that orientation normally). anyone else ever pull something like this off?
