Hey, that not too bad for a LW popup. First off, If you want to get better, you should show us the insides of the bot, so we know what you put in there. Secondly, people may critique you for having no wedge, but that's actually not a bad thing on a LW since they mostly don't have one, but the front is way to shallow to get under anything. You might want to rebuild it so get a longer chassis wedge. Lastly, You should Effe the razors, (aka wire burst motor, place razor over attachment point, fire, then attach) to where they all hit at the same time.

Nice skin though.

Cheers for the advice and the compliment for its skin.
I will create a much longer version of this bot. At the moment i'd like to keep this Lightweight as an example, though I do see where you're coming from with the shallow wedge point, hmm. Gives me something to work on ^^

Working on it, expect an update soon enough. Prepare your criticism xD

No, he means how to eFFe.

It's easy. Wire your either burst motor or spin motor,
then put the motor as your burst/spin motor,
then place motor under attachment point (do NOT fire !)
then put motor on the extender point, fire, let the motor spin, then attach when it is fixed).

There, problem solved. Really.

Wire = make the burst motor controllable by giving it a button control

Way too steep. What drive do you have? How many razors is that? 3? 4? In any case, you would most likely want to focus less on weapons and more on making your chassis as big as possible. Popups are one of the few bot types that you want a large chassis on, just make the wedge as long and as wide as you possibly can. After that, you might want to adjust your razors so that it fires upwards (think techno distructo or chaos 2 instead of firestorm). That'll let you self-right more easily.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Well after reading the advice I think I set myself a new record for crashing and burning, ahaa... Eeeh. Well I DID ask for advice, did I not?
Anyway, I improved the steep chassis, added a small wedge to aid getting under other bots, and focused less on the weapons.... Sorta.
Well, honesty is the best policy and I agree with your thoughts, stick with Ironforge and making arty-bots.

If you have weight you really should center the wedge. Downgrade to Shinies if you have to.

Unfortunately it seems I'll have to have this as a middleweight, I really don't mind. I'm here for the advice so I can take it in and whip out a bot far superior to my previous ones. I have to admit Claymore MK2 is certainly an improvement.
And I could center the wedge seeing as I've already hit the middleweight category.
...I'm not good at this am I? XD

Nah man it's still way too narrow and steep. If you want to survive against HS it'll need to be wider than that. Wedges aren't really a requirement in the LW division so you can remove it to get more chassis weight. Rubber wheels are just unnecessary for how little of a wedge war there is for LWs though. Get rid of them.

we need insides m8. regardless they look pretty good, but i think rubbers are a waste of weight in the lightweight division.

Inside shots coming soon. Also, I've since 'downgraded' from the rubber wheels.
Thanks for the advice (and bot compliment, lol). ^^

Here's a HW popup with inside shots. No criticism please because it's too late as I've already (attempted) to enter it to Robots In Space where I will see it get absolutely pummeled by the better robots. Yeeah, I suck don't I?

And here's what I'll be listening to when I watch it get pummeled:

In the future, you are going to want at least 4wd drive on a HW popup, otherwise the bot is going to be too slow and spinner will kill it before the popup can get under them.
