Well, not if you follow our advice.
Would you like to build stuff like this?

Then follow our advice.
But you're currently at:

And here's a hint to building stuff like 1337 Speek 2.0, absolutely skip the armor sections in the botlab, and you get a special armor called DSA, lighter than aluminium and stronger than steel.

Scout is just plain bad, the rest is better though.

Why is it bad ? Well, it's too tall, it has an awful wedge, it's not invertible.

Show your bot's insides so we can give better advice.

Hadn't done anything here in a while, I'm going to just build many bots and try to edit one enough until it is "good". I know I kind of got close with that one spinner on my DSL showcase, but I think i build slightly better on stock now.

So, all that aside, here is my first one:

What is inside:

remove one wedge.

put some HPZ drive on it and shiny hub wheels.

add some weapons, try and add some armor like plows or ramplates.

finally hammer weapons on wedge bodies generally fail.

is it to 399kg more or less ?

removed a wedge, added ramplates, and replaced hammer weapon with popup spikes.

Here:

Inside:

weighs 460.7

with ramplates, flippers and popup still operate correctly

Build to the wight limit, or make it MW.

Also it'd be better to move the burst motor forward and the spike to fire forward too, like this:

put these ramplates properly, right now they fail

popup needs better extender work and MOAR RAZORS.

build to weight limit.

needs far superior drive as well.

it's a popup, why would it need to be invertible ?

reworked chassis, Improved weapon, and made it middleweight. adding better drive and trying to add ramplates (Seriously I wish there was something in between 22.5 and 45 angles)

You forgot to put in batteries. Bots need batteries.

Anyway, square extenders (besides the 140cms) are a waste of weight because all extenders have the same stats. Use round ones instead.

Also, you should put the weapons on two separate DDTs. Each DDT can hold about 4 razors before they start firing slowly.

Oh yea, forgot batteries... I used square extenders for popup because I needed to rotate them upside down for spike position, will change wedge extenders though. Also, might need to change the chassis again so I can get these horrible angles to place the ramplate correctly

Download an AI pack called Starcore V4. That AI pack has all the 'up-to-date' bots that are used in competitions and whatnot, and is a very good way to understand what you're lacking - instead of us telling you, why not just do a side-by-side comparison of your bots, and the opponent's bots?

lol people actually forget to put in batteries ? :rage

aanyways it needs more drive and less wedges and more weapons, probably would be better with 1 snapper dedicated to the wedge and 2 to weapons

can use some armor but if you do a flatpopup it doesn't need any other armor than DSA

Had to grow chassis again, still cant get ramplates on because of the angles, improved drive, improved weapons, couldnt fit anything else so I just squeezed a few batteries in
