On that heavyweight you're going to want to mount the snappers vertically. It apparently makes the wedges better.

the APs on the blue snapper that arent the axle itself are like servos, and will always rotate to their starting position. It can be a good or bad thing depending on how you use it.So yeah man, there isn't anything you can do about it.
Alright that looks like a bad idea so you should either revert to a static drive or find another way to mount the drive onto the snapper (maybe try mounting it on the top arm instead?).
You're using grannies anyway, so that shouldn't matter. Try mounting an extender on the middle of the snapper (with the 2 APs facing up), then another extender parallel and on top of it, then a T connector going down from that extender. That might be low enough for shinies.
