Hey Sage like the new sig.

On the bot all the way to the left on the sig, you should move the motors back a bit, and attach the tribars with their top attachment point. That way a good portion of the tribar is under the battleaxes, but the razors are still out to attack. It protects the tribar.

Looks awsome sage :D

How do you guys ensure that every wedge that you make gets under bots like Seism 13 & R4?
Most of mine only get under bounty hunter :S

DDT wedges and trial+error. If that doesn't work, either rebuild the bot or BALLAST :O

It could be a very small AGOD, Gazea2 had something similar happen to one of his bots. And it's affected me as well. Although I don't believe it is AGOD in this case.

That was on my Click-rammer clone, wasn't it?

Anyway, I <333 the bot. It looks very well-protected. How many batts and razors?

Oh, and I <333 the new sig (especially the bot in the top-right), even though it isn't GAZ'd. :P

From the challenge thread. An interesting setup. Fitting 4wd plus 6DDTs plus 3 blacks plus armor was a challenge, but i was surprised the wedges turned out was well as they did.

I really like that bot. Might be generic, but I like the idea of a small chassis crammed with stuff.

It's a fairly standard snapper loaded popup, in my view, just with Sledgehammer weapons.

It's actually not a generic shape/setup at all. It's just being called generic cause its a popup. Which there are far too many of.

Next bot = something interesting :)

*runs back to stock showcases*
It looks an awfull lotlike a lot of other heavyweight stockbots i've seen, and i'm not talking about the insides, just the design seems VERY familliar.
Still, you're the sage, i'm just the guy who knows nothing about stock  :laughing

I have to admit, a popup was the last thing I expected from you for that challenge.  I thought for sure the hammer weapon requirement was an invitation to build VS's.  And the hammers are so heavy and awkward to attach on popups.

Also, I wouldn't think the armor is necessary, since sledgehammer bots aren't going to be scoring one-hit KO's, or even 2 or 3-hit KO's.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

I knew a popup was an unconventional design for hammers, but I decided to go with it because it would be a challenging build. A hammer is so heavy it needs its own DDT, meaning I would need to fit 4 of them on there.

I was actually predicting an HS from you, hence the frontal armor.

2 blacks. 795. 4WD; 2 Hp 2 Reg Z-tek.

Due to a strange quirk in RA2 programming, a horizontal chassis will not turn. So, I had to find a way to keep the castors facing forward as well as being able to turn. The whole setup... was very difficult to figure out.

Enjoy.

EDIT: (In response to Scorpion's comment) The DDTs apply plenty of force to quickly flip the bot over at the start of the match.
