Nice bot Sage.  Looks tuff.  Is this a potential Tourney bot?
How does it Self-Right, .. very well?... very quickly?  What about on its side?
Looks effective...
Input is appreciated. :)

I'm not a big fan of sideplows because you can make up for the lack of side protection with smart driving. On the other hand, VSers (Especially HWs) are very tipsy and hard to maneuver, so I guess it's not a total waste.

they wouldn't be there if i didnt need stability. originally i had 4 in front, but it tipped. As for madiabas question, it can self right by spinning backwards, and it wont fall on its side because of the plow setup.

L for Lick (here meaning: "to hit or beat, esp. as a punishment; thrash; whip."
OR: "to overcome or defeat, as in a fight, game, or contest."  )
evrythings on the splash, except that there's 4 snowplows and 3 ramplates.

me and inf will be posting a lot of bots in the challenge showcase in a bit. look out!

A hammer bot? Don't see too many of those too often...

Anyways, how stable is it, and how does it fair against HS and VS's?

Hopefully this is a bit better than you Jabberwock rebuild...

Are some of the plows connected off the other sides of the snappers that hold the wedges or no?

Lice one... eer, sorry, nice one.

These are 3 stacked ramplates, or more?

But for the name I would have put "Lamentation"

I like the idea to use blades to protect the exposed extenders of the wedges. What are the red extenders for? If it was sombody else's bot I would suppose it is a decoration. But since it's yours, I think there must be another reason for that.

cooker it is so that i can self right when i get turned upside down. i dont do decoration.
as for the name, i try to use something that fits the robot. lamenation sounds cool, but doesn't fit the description. and to kill343's question, yes it is much better than my jabberwock (you have to remember thats the very first hammer bot ive ever made) and no all the plows are connected to the middle snapper. scrap daddy, it sucks against HS and VS, but hammer bots usually do.

more coming soon...

same specs, but no axes. now it has 4WD, which helps more than you might think.

along with 2 sinister, it has beaten (first try, and these are the SCv4 versions of the bots): Obital delivery vehicle, 3-2-1 BLASTOFF, T-800 Terminator, Billy Goat Gruffiest, and of course, jabberwocky.

if you want any battleshots, just say so.

Credit to Pyscolone for the curved hammer idea. works amazingly.

another bot is in the works... :)

How do the srimechs on the snappers work? From my experience, they're too weak to self-right a HW, unless they are static. This version looks so much better than the last.

That's a great hammer bot.  I like the idea of using a high plow to protect the hammer extenders.  Seems like common sense, but you don't see it done often.

I also want to know how it can self-right with those long red extenders, or if those only keep it from being flipped.

because it doesnt get flipped too often, i just wanted a little protection against it instead of wasting weight and time on a srimech. they extenders are static, and do help.

well, the forum sure is slow this week...

the red and black snappers are just a hint of whats to come in my new skin pack. they are the same thing as the blue one, just a different color.

this robot was started trying to upgrade The Troll from Scv4, and i got carried away....

That would be a damn good upgrade. The only thing is that those extenders on the drums look like pretty easy targets, so it might be easily disarmed. I don't know of course, because I DON'T SEE ANY BATTLESHOTS *hint, hint*

Yeah. He's really good.

By the way, how did you attached the 4WD? I mean, you used the rear connection point of the two black snappers, the one which acts like a servo, for attaching your bursted HPZTEK 4WD, but how did you placed the extenders? I'm relaying on this drive type on my fast heavyweights too but its pretty difficult to build a precise and symmetrical one.
