You would gain more weight if that U-shaped rear part of the chassis was just a box with empty space in. Remember: the weight is calculated by surface area, not volume, so to save weight, you could move the rear two HPzteks inwards and shave down the perimiter of the chassis. Also, I like Suzaku's idea. More weapons = more damage to other bots weapons = weaker parts for the hammers to, well, hammer.

Caster armor from my experience are generally most effective on pop-up bots, replacing the casters with razors would make an interesting ramming/side hammer bot and if controlled correctly a person could use the inertia from the ramming attack combined with the burst motors to deal some pretty nasty damage.

P.S. Stack the batteries too.

I've stacked 4 before. :)
Just keep on trying and eventually they'll fall into place.

bout 2 hours, takes about half an hour to stack the first two, sometimes longer after that. I couldn't get the fifth one in no matter how hard I tried.

well, ive never tried really. I don't feel like spending 2 hours stacking batts anymore. The novelty of it has dissapeared in my eyes.

I'm working on a stock stack-bot actually. I mean, a thing just for stacking practice.

Just near-perfectly stacked 7 anchors.

The bot looks like it would be good against popups and rammers, definitely.

HS's... not so much.  Now if you used rows of spikes instead of casters, that would be a different story.  For bots with only horizontal weapons (pistons, HS's, side hammers) I've noticed that you need the extra damage from spikes in front in order to punch through HS's.

Hammers will always be a problem for that design, not much you can do about it.

too bad I'm pretty much the only person who builds (good) stock hammers anymore.

I'm gonna actually work on this bot, now that i have some ideas. If anyone noticed, this is just fatal encounter with the DDTs turned around. I was just seeing what i could do. Plus i wanted to use purple maces.

yes, that is the NEW tempus fugit I beat in that picture. Yes, my bot is a VS.

anyways, this is the Ninja remake for Inf's summer thingy. (Well, winter now.) It's pretty good. I tried to keep it as original to the old on as i could, which had 2 VS motors with tiny weapons on them.

Looks nice. You could probably stack the cb into the black to get some weight and do something if you have any weight left...

Isn't that weak against HS?

Yes, very much so. But nothing can be done about that. HS has almost always trumped VS.

I like it. It's nice to see something different (any good stock VS) for a change.

My BOTM. Turns out it's fricking awesome (i hadn't tested before i posted my botm picture.)

this thing can take out HWs in SCv4. That is insane for a LW. It beat Scv4 tempus fugit, which is an amzing bot. It beat aerial HK, which is another of the best LWs ever. Destroyed sentinel observer. so yea. Its pretty good.

Yep. Trinity SnS like that kick ass. I've one hit killed several Starcore heavyweights with my (old as heck) Dark Sun 3.

Two weeks ago, i rebuilt one very close to that (but with 4 anchors and 2 maces rather than 2 axes) but it teleported OOTA every time i fought with it.
