Nice.  That chaining spinning motors is ridiculous.  I thought the square extenders would be stronger, and also, I never used to horizontal side of extenders.  Appreciate the share of the knowledge.  I'll be a force to be reckoned with in no time.
Hey Sage, where or when are good oppertunities to just battle with folks without the long and drawn on tournament route?  I need to find a group of people who are up to battle on a spontaneous note.  It would definetely keep me ambitious to know of where or who to go to, to set up a game.

Download hamachi, and join RA2 United if you can. From what I know, basically anyone who plays online is there. I haven't logged on in a while though, so I'm not sure anymore.

Make the bot a wedge.
Get low ground clearance (preferably Rubber wheels on HP Z-Teks)
Put a small wedge on a Snapper II or Snapper 2 on the front of your bot.
Put burst motors inside your bot with multiple weapons on each the "popup" out of the wedge when a bot is on top of it.

Thanks.

im not an expert on popups (more of an HS builder) but basically all you need for a good popup is lots of frontal armor, some razors on DDT motors, and good wedges. strong drive is also a plus.

Great bot.  Hammers are a tough breed to make really good.

Hint: Since chassis weight is calculated by surface area, you're much better off making a chassis like this

._____
.......
.......
.\___/

than one like this

._____
.......
..__..
|_| |_|

Also with the 16 kgs, you can add razor tips sticking up on the front plow extenders.  Might work as a small preventative measure to keep bots from climbing up the plows.

Random side hammer i made. Probably not not as good as Click's frag beetle, but hey, it still looks cool.

since the bot isn't amazing, i didn't feel like doing an awesome splash.

cut down on surface area.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

to both of you: the empty space isn't as much as you think. the DDTs have weird collision meshes that are kinda big. If i were to minimize, i might get MAYBE 3 kgs. can you tell me what i should do with that? It's probably better this way because larger chassis have more health.

It has a big chassis because a wedged bot is MORE efficient (less wobbly) when not having it's drive and everything on snappers.

Personally, I would invert the maces and pointy tips weapons because the maces should be more efficient at the end of the weapon arm.

Why not turn it into a rammer/side hammer?
