I made this showcase to get help on my bots. enjoy and please criticize.

For the 1st, use Shiny Hubs. They weigh less so you can use more weapons. The only Exception is to use those wheels to make it invertible (I highly doubt it is though so just stick to hubs for it). Don't use Spike Strips. Use Iron Spikes instead (or if you know how to effe glitch, maces would be better). The chassis looks a bit too big also. Make a chassis that you planned to put such and such components here, not random chassis and put in components. With the weapon setup, just do the same thing you did to the second one. One under another.
2nd bot is pretty much the same as 1. Those wheels are way too heavy (hubs are pretty much the best wheels). The chassis could most likely be cut down also, and Iron Spikes are good if you don't know how to effe glitch maces. 2 Black Batteries should be used (it would be great if you stacked them if they aren't already).
Other than that it's a decent spinner.

Ok i finally got around to getting the insides of the bots
here they are. the first one is OO1. the second is OO2 with the snappers extended so you can see the insides.

Ok, now that I see the insides, here's some more things that you should do.
OO1: Change to black batteries. Learning to stack them will be an enormous help on this. HW HS should always (no exceptions) get 2 black batts. Use the Blue snappers and try to get 2 HP-Zteks per snapper.
OO2: Black batteries also, yeah stack them too (use 2 of them). 4 RADS for drive motors aren't practical for a HW HS. Instead, you should just use 2 HP-Zteks for drive (with shiny hubs).
If you do what I recommended in the last 2 posts, it will increase your bot's strength quite a bit. :gunz:

this is a bot that I made before the OOs. dual chained vs.
I later changed the razors to spike balls(iron spikes hit the ground)
plenty of extra weight for improvements( I will put more weapons on)

underweight, overkill on the batteries, chassis isn't as small as it can be... list goes on.

I don't even think chained weapons do any good. If anything, it's worse because it has no torque.

chained weapons spin a lot faster then anything else...
take a look at my bots meltdown 2 (lw chained HS) and death touch (hw chained HS).

mind you all my chained spinners use snappers.. so maybe that's why mine get up to max spinning speed faster >.>

Depends on the weapon on the end of the motors. my first one had sledge hammers and took a ton of time. this one only takes a few seconds.

the plow is there to shield the snappers(if they fall off I'm doomed)

the reason i didn't use shinies was it wouldn't touch the ground.

Way better than the first two bots. Try to connect the Z-teks to one snapper so you can save some weight.

use the blue snappers, saves a lot of weight but you will need to re-size the chassis.

It is a lightweight! I have only seen mw chained spinners.
Is it overpowered? I could make it have irons if i shed about 8 kg's off of it.

i know starcore AI pack has a lw chained spinner and i also made my own which was shown in BOTM for last month (meltdown 2).

yes, mine doesnt use the axle loading glitch but mine has a plow..

i am having trouble overlapping the battery and the cb. any tips?

Those drive motors look like target practice. Try placing them a little bit farther back. And yeah, it's very overpowered. One nifty is perfect for a lightweight spinner. Irons are a must though for spinners so that's recommended also.

i finnaly got the cb into the nifty. I repositioned the motors slightly. I got irons but still have about 7kg's left of weight. It is still dsa.

Changing the Iron Spikes to Maces would make the weapons closer so all the hits are done in massive single blows, like you did with OO4.

No, for protection against Pop-ups, and what do you mean you don't have space for it, castors attach to the belly of the bot, no need to raise them for front protection.

EDIT: i did near the front of the chassis cuz popups tend to hit there.
it actually makes the bot more unstable, more prone to havoking, and makes the maces further from the ground.

it would fall in the stock mid class(stock ra2 with less than 4 hpzs and 4 snappers.)

Nice idea.
Maybe use round extenders on the HPZs as axels. You could even use them to try and simulate suspension if you're feeling brave.

Oh yeah. You could also use EMERGENCY wedges instead.
And direct the orientation of the Snapper II to the side so the HPZ can bend up and down for suspension-like action.
And put a mace sticking out of the center of the chassis for the helmet. XD

I reckon it needs a real skin, from an actual F1 team. If you're going to do something, might as well do it properly...

that is the top view of the extenders. snap connects to the bottom of 0, rads connect to the 1s, and hpzs/zs attach to the 2s.
edit: i tried to draw them in paint but failed.

Is the bot using Impulse 4's setup? If you could angle the drive extenders, it could be invertible without using grannies. And yeah, maces would be better but it would look cooler if the innermost weapon in the extender would be an iron so it would have a better reach. :D

it is invertible without the grannies(took me like 3 hours) but with the hpztecs it dosnt work as well when inverted.

Turn the drive 90 degrees and use shinies (rubbers if possible). Dunno what's up with the wedges, though. Probably a small AGOD or the way the snapper's mounted.

i would use shines... but it would take me 2 hours to redo the bot (prob with everything on 1 snapper) and the grannies give me more mobility.
i could bfe the motors right and put shines on if its ok w/ everyone.

Uhm... hate to break it to you... but I thought that the BOTM submissions were supposed to be secret. It keeps people from basing their judgement on anything other than your bot.

Its not worth the effort to rebuild the whole bot just to rotate 2 motors 90 decrees.
I say go on ahead and BFE rotate the motors and change to shinies. But if you loose too much mobility you can go back to grannies.

and yes i do have to redo the entire bot... except for the chassis the motors would have to be effed in and that requires taking the plows, wedges, snappers, and maybe weps off... which is most of the bot.
edit: k its done. it is a little slower, but for some reason turns better. i have 17.5 kgs left and idk what to use them for.

How do you rotate components using BFE? All I know to do is replace a component and change the height. XD

Putting a 40cm on the 80cm extender would make the wedge longer than one 120cm extender.

ok i got extra 80 cm on the extenders... it seems to work better now. i have this problem w/ turning. it wont turn unless forward or backward is also applied. so i have to go forward while turning and that makes me loose matches.
here is the extender setup for all of u. the rad in the bottom center is for axel loading. You can see the extenders on the snappers cuz the are loaded somewhere off of the screen.

here is me vs vortex ce. i just barely won cuz of the turning issue(i couldnt get my wheels out of vortexes way.) i was supprised to see the extenders for the wedges still on.

Again, turn your drive 90 degrees. You bot will have some drive issues when the bulky part of the HPZ is touching the ground. :D

1 black, dsa, 2 hpzs for wep, 2 hps for drive, everything mounted on 1 bluesnap. Has the same chassis as oo5, crylik, my mw vs, and omgykk, probably a bunch others.

prolly because they're elevated, and are mounted on extenders that have spinning weapons on them. It looks kinda fragile too.

Ioriginally had irons without a wedge because it was meant to fight HSand most HS don\'t have wedges but i decided I would make it at leastdecent against wedges. No SCv4 HS can beat it. Leprosy is easy pickensand Maelstrom puts up a good fight because of the casters. I\'m prettysure it could beat a 36hs but i haven\'t tried yet.
It works somewhat like a juggler with the bots ontop of the tribars chewing extenders and the chassis.
Ps: You might see a MW version in some tourny :O but you might not ;)

I apologize if I sounded rude or anything, but this is getting a bit annoying.
Anyway, having such a tiny chassis isn't beneficial at all. Attaching your burst motors onto a burst motor makes your wedges highly unreliable (same reason why Crylic kinda sucked). Just widen the front part of the chassis so you can add an anchor on each side to attach your burst wedges (or Snapper II wedges, if the former setup is too heavy. II AI's Kritical seems to perform well with Snapper II wedges) And you can attach your drive and weapons to the Snapper II using only a T connector and 2 extenders. Fiddle around with the extender angles and your maces (I think irons would be better in this case, since they're better at the scooping job) would be low enough but not touching the ground. And trying another version with the HPZs for drive and Z-Teks for weapons (better at flanking).
