lol if inf and venko met up only 1 would return alive :P but i have really no idea what to think about this guy.. he's either:

1. INF or Venko in disguise.
2. their lovechild.

either way i don't mind as long as we get to see more epic bots.

This is the reason this forum is a complete embarrassment.

I just LOLed so hard at this showcase. There is such an overwhelming lack of originality, or anything that proves itself to be a deign that was never anyone elses (there are so many AI clones in this showcase from my bots and from Starcore) and everyone appreciates it as ability and originality. WTF happened here? Has this place become overridden with n00b drones and horrific opinions?

It's about some one came back to dish out the opinions, because this forum/showcase is embarrassing compared to previous standards.

Anyway, as many of us have said, this guy has proven himself to have the ability to make good bots but has yet to apply this to being original.

Inf does have a point. The setups are excellent, and I'm pretty sure they'll be great in combat, but there is a definite lack of originality here, most of the stuff here is either cloned or quite heavily inspired by stuff from InfAI, I imagine. Trouble is, originality does sometimes come at the cost of combat effectiveness, but maybe that's a good thing. If everything was built to be the ultimate fighting machine, then this forum would become boring quite quickly, especially with the level of building we're at now. I reckon you might want to consider branching out into DSL, there's more of an opportunity for originality there, I think.

Nice to see Inf popping by, though, even if it is just one post. Shows there's still some of the old guard around here.

The old guard is taking a stand, and I'm not even old. I was just really good when I was younger.

I'm just confused, because so many of these bots are blatant clones. I guess I have to remind peole what bots I have with some updates.

people think original designs will fail in combat but that's only because people need time to perfect new designs. We have seen the perfect horizontal spinner, possibly seen the perfect popup etc. the only reason stock is fading is because people are letting it >.>
