Sage, Clickbeetle is Clickbeetle. Therefore, he discovered it. Stop trying to take credit for the accomplishments of others.

I suppose you'll be trying to take credit for designing the first 36HS next too :O
In all seriousness, wasn't that infinteinertia who did that first?

EDIT: No, we were brainstorming ideas on AIM. Inf had to leave, and that night I built the first AC (i put a pic up somewhere in my showcase). Inf had come to the same design during school or something, and built the AC we all love the next day (mine was just a box chassis... he made it airtight). Technically we collaborated on it.

Oh, thanks for clearing that up, I was always a bit confused with how AC was born.

That's right!

I also built the first popup in case you didn't know.  And I discovered the eFFe glitch.  (Then why is it called the eFFe glitch?  SILENCE FOOL, YOU KNOW NOTHING.) :P

Anyways, back on topic--the VS looks awesome, R0B0.  Is there any way you could tilt the chassis further upwards and get a bigger disc?  Chained VS work best with big discs.

Probably, but then weight quickly becomes an issue. I guess I could downgrade to Redbirds for drive and see how much weight that gives me. I'll give it a shot.

New bot? New bot.

I was toying around with ideas for a new Ripblade for ReStocked (granted, I haven't been following the progress of the pack so I have no idea if Sage and co. already have it covered), and I came up with something that I don't actually think would be a suitable replacement, but is cool nonetheless:

DSA, completely invertible, could be MW if it wasn't an orgy of inefficient extender work. To get it down to a MW, I'll just switch the two side t-connectors to 20cm extenders, which will save me about 6(?)kg.

Hopefully I can have more stuff to post soon enough.

that's sick! I think we do have a Ripblade, but this one certainly is cool as well. I'll talk to scrap about it.

Looks fantastic. You could taper the front end of the chassis (I think) to save a possible .2kg, the SnapperII's narrower than the Blackvolt. If the extender work is lightened, maybe you could have 8 irons on there. =]

Trov said this:

All the stock wheels have 1 grip and 400HP (the default for wheels). The only difference, besides the obvious size and weight, is that shinies and minis don't have .2 resistance (they have .12 and .1).

If resistance is related to turning (as stated on the beetlebros site) then having nearly anything else would be beneficial.

So, I modified an old SnS into this:

Basically, the upward angled Irons make it a Tempus Fugit-style HS killer. In fact, it beat TF 7/8 times testing. Lack of razors means that it occasionally struggles against wedges though, as it tends to bounce off. As for the Buzzard wheels, yes they do seem to make a difference in turn speed. It at least looks like it spins faster than it's previous incarnation.

You guys think that Buzzards/Grannies could become more common on SnS, where turnspeed is critical if resistance is related to turning?
