DSA, 1 black. Tried to rebuild The Boxer for ReStocked, so I just scaled down Giant Enemy Crab and then this came out. Couldn't find the sweet spot for the smartzone, BUT IT CAN STILL HIT THE WEAK POINTS FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE!

It doesn't tip backwards on occasion? Seems like a wedge will easily get under cause theres no pressure on the plows.

EDIT: What about changing that mace to an iron? At the moment, it looks like it's not going to reach anything.

I doubt the iron would reach things any better. And the mace would stop people getting to the extenders a little better.

Nope, but it's not built against wedges anyway (though it has gotten lucky due to exposed wheels).

I would've used my free weight on another black rather than on caster armor. :P

And yeah, I needed the extender protection from maces in case the bursts fire too early.

I intended this to be a joke bot, but it occasionally glitches to insane speeds that it can take on shallow wedges and some uber-HSes. But if it's not in the mood, it can't even fight for sour apples. :P

Oh, and the motors are angled like that because I only have 0.8kg to spare so I can't use 40cms.

That looks fantastic. I might like to see how Snap!Happy 6.3 does against it. I believe some of my bots do a similar thing. They're balanced when they spin left, but bounce around like

if they spin right. Is yours a similar situation?

Actually, it doesn't. It does occasionally go wild though when its tribars are spinning in the opposite direction (caused by impacts).

So yeah, that was my attempt at rebuilding Ripblade. Seeing as Ripblade was supposed to be a Nightmare clone, the least I could do was to emulate its power. What I couldn't do though, was to emulate its stance and reach. The chassis extension isn't long enough to make it stable, and I don't have enough weight to lengthen the extenders. I also need the DSA since I don't have weight for more casters.

Try going about it differently. Use a larger disc and maybe only have 2 of the 4 APs have weapons them. Use RAD drive for weight, wider stabalizers, less chassis (use stilts or motor placement instead.)

Or make it kinda like MW version of Heavens Sawmill

but have the heading in the reverse direction and even attach plows and drive to the one extender lot..

if length is an issue dont forget the 140cm extender (assuming this is for what I think it is).. though it could be too long :P

Hell's sawmill reminded me of that crappy VS i entered in that BOTM right after I joined and was still a noob. That bot was good for my standards back then.
