Right, didn't realize that the black isn't wide enough to completely fit 2 anchors (even if they're placed diagonally across?).

If you replace the T as-is with 2 extenders it'll break RO7, I think. You would have to stack the anchor so that it becomes symmetric with only 1 extender as the T.

And both are equally garbage against bots with HPZ drive. RAD drive means it takes a while for it to spin alongside the motors so taking a light bump just pretty much sends it tumbling, but I guess that's part of its tactics.

So I was disappointed with the slight wheel AGOD and virtually nonexistent weapon reach so I tried to find another setup and got it:

Front armor and middle snapper aside, everything else is the same (3 pinks and 1 tank). Shame that the bot is forced to use the 140cms, the wedges are a bit too long for my liking, but at least the longest piston gives the razors some godly reach. When all is said and done, you'll just be better off with a popup due to its inherent srimech. The wedged poker design would have to sacrifice a lot to get Snapper2 wedges.

That is so good. I just wish there was a way to sneak blades on the wedge extenders for a little more longevity.

you're using the longest piston? i thought it had some inherit issues with glitching.
I might have tried the second longest one to move the razors back just ab it so you get a little more acceleration before hitting the other bot

Intended to be a Jubjub Bird rebuild, might as well enter it to a tourney. Didn't realize 09 made a bot similar to this, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Would love to find a more effective plow setup, as HPZ HSes are still favored, and even RAD HSes have a 50-50 chance of beating it if the hammer misses and accidentally puts itself on top. Also this only has around a maximum of 5 swings before the arm fails to right, but by that point one of the bots should be limping or KOed anyway.

Mome Rath - DSA, 1 black, & 799.3 kg. Could downgrade to plastic but I'm too lazy to redo the math for the new weapon allocations. Technically I could find a way to use shinies as well as a wider plow setup but snapper loading with the max_sphere cockblocking all my attempts is a pain in the ass.

Also I found a setup here that I could probably use on Dizzy Bees, so I guess that's next.

Awesome. And a similar thing happened to me. I planned to enter with a SnS called Atom Spinner, but I was upgrading it and thought the sign up would end on 15 May, so I ended up missing out too

Looks super sick, shame you didn't get it entered in time. You even aligned the plows on each side, so if it loses the flat one on one side and the angled one on the other it'll still be stable. Could you get it even w i d e r by snapper loading before attaching the plows so that they're inside the max sphere?

Yeah the plow alignment thing was what spurred me to rebuild Mome Rath. But for some reason, every time I snapper load, the stuff would just swing along the snapper arm's axis of rotation and never horizontally. Maybe I already had too much stuff there already to glitch elsewhere.

Meanwhile, I got the Dizzy Bees thing done:
 

Technically this should be lighter by 1 kg and Mome Rath by 2 kg since I used a Y instead of a T-connector. Wasn't sure about using maces and irons over razors but I stuck with it since I needed a mace to protect the snapper extender and the math just checks out perfectly for 24 kg per arm. Then again, I could go the 60 cm extender + 2 razors route but I'm too lazy to redo the math.

Literally just mirrored Dizzy Bees' setup to try to "improve" Vortex CE. Seemed fine in the test garage, but turns into a pickle the moment I try to spin the weapons. I'm too lazy to figure out how to separate the drive from the weapons while keeping the bot symmetrical.

It's very pretty; I think it helps with stability if the setup coming off each individual snapper is symmetrical, so any excess weight on one side doesn't shift the snapper axle.

Fracture might be onto something. There's a reason it worked on Diz and not this besides the weight class difference.
