Pretty good for a newbie, though it can be done better.
Consider reading all of this for advice on how to improve your bot building skill: http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm (http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm)

Iron spikes > Sledge hammers
Razors > Sledge hammers
Maces > Sledge hammers
-
Thanks. Ill try to make it better
-
To be honest, i dont know what else to add to it. Should i replace the sledge hammers with iron spikes or razor spikes?
-
Razors
Don't use anglers, either.

I personally like iron spikes. But you can try both and see which one you like better.
Irons have more HP than Razors, and Razors inflict more damage.
-
Use irons, because on a HW razors would break easier.
-
Ok, thanks guys.

Build to the weight limit.
And you might want this: https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/AI_Packs/Starcore/StarcoreAIPackV3.rar (https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/AI_Packs/Starcore/StarcoreAIPackV3.rar)
Once you master V3, move on to V4: https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/StarcoreV4Alpha2.zip (https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/StarcoreV4Alpha2.zip)

Yeah, i know. i was going to do that. I was just trying to make a showcase.

I find it funny how nmn is doing what I used to do, make awesome robots then use EMERGENCY as a punching bag.
Oh, and you could put blades on the extenders to protect the wedges more.
....Or ramplates, if you wanted, seeing as you have enough weight.
-
Yay a positive comment! And thanks for the tips. Ill put that into action! Tomorrow that is.

Oh and on the blades part, did you mean by the actual item called "blade"?

When using two extenders like that on a horizontal spinner, rotate the first one to make both vertical, so they both hit at the same time and it does more damage. You are off to a good start though!

Im confused on the part where you said to rotate the first one to make both vertical. But thanks for the tip!

By rotate, he means that the spike needs to be in a different place. When you attach the first extender, turn it so that the other attachment points on it face down.
You currently have it like this: oo
It needs to be like this: 8
Basically, the second extender has to be underneath the first one, not on the side.

You're most likely not too stupid, you're just too intellectually lazy to figure it out by yourself.
What it means is that when you build an horizontal spinner, the plane on which your weapon heads are (here two spikes on two extenders) must not be parallel to the ground.
Your two iron spikes must touch the opponent at the same time, and for this you need to turn your whole spike setup 90 degrees. Like in most stock horizontal spinners.

Thats also true, what i actually meant is that im confused and i cant really imagine that in my head so i dont know what he means.

Oh wait. Nvm. You meant to make it face down.. LOL. I cant do that because i cant add anymore extenders.
-
The wedges are upside down. =P
And what's the weight?

The weight is the same, and i put the wedges like that since thats the angle when i go into battle.

Can you put shines or grannies on it? (VS)

No, I mean like this:
The blades on-top of the poles give them more protection without being too tall for the wedges to be rendered useless.
-
If you want to use those big funky wheels, at least tilt them some degrees. It will make it look very jit and also make it more stable possibly
-

If i did, the spinners would be hitting the floor.
EDIT: And the weight is already light enough. i cant put anymore even though its only 500+
-
That VS looks so much like the first bot I showcased.

eFFe it on.
there's a tutorial on it somewhere.
-
The wedge is upside down, btw.
Go to:
http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ (http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/)
-
To get both on and rightside-up, do this:
1. Take the blades and wedges off the extenders
2. Connect the wedge to the extender, like you're going to put it on, but don't click. Instead, fire the snappers and put it on before it retracts
3. Now that the wedges are out of the way, put the blades on
4. Once both wedges have been eFFe'd and the blades are on, go to the test garage and back. Both the wedges and blades will be hooked on
It's pretty simple.
-
Guys i know the wedge is upside down. I put it like that for a reason
