dont worry about your bots being "failiures" when you start a showcase. we'll guide you from making bots like this:

to stuff like this:
if i can improve like that, surely you will be able to in given time

on the bot: you would really focus all of your weaponry to the front, 99% of bots are not ai'd to attack your rear, and the one ai file that does make it so it attacks  your rear doesnt work iirc. that said if you just make your bot invertable instead of having a srimech you could have more weapons and thus be able to do more damage

more stuff can be found here http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Hi mate! Always good to see new people making showcases.

From the off, there are plenty of things I can see you can do to improve your bots significantly. People will no doubt link you to a load of stuff but I think it best if we take things bit by bit. So here's a few pointers to work from.

1 - Build to the weight limit. You may find it hard to use up all 800kg, especially at first, but you should endeavor to. But not just with anything you can throw on it. One of the most important things when building a horizontal spinner if having more weapons than your opponent. In your bot, there is the best part of 200kg free that you could use for more weapons. Use that extra weight to make your bot more powerful.

2 - Build the chassis around the components. What it seems you've done is made a standard cuboid chassis and thought 'what can I put in this chassis?'. Now you know what you are trying to include on your bot, design a chassis which those components will fit in but has as little extra space as possible. What this does is reduces useless weight usage, as a bigger chassis weighs more, allowing you to invest in weapons, armour, drive or anything really.

3 - Have all your weapons in one direction. As Mr Awesomesauce said, it is rare that you will be attacked from anything but your front, as long as it is your front that is pointing at the opponent. As such, you should be focusing on having your weapons all facing forwards as well. Either lose that face spinner on the redbird or make it face forward.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of the tips we can give, but once you grasp these we can move onto more.

Use red or black 20 cm extenders to attach more than just four weapons on a disc. You can also save weight by using Iron Spikes instead of Sledgehammers (same damage) and Shiny Hub wheels instead of Fatboys (all wheels are the same except for size and weight).

We actually have a moderator on this forum from France, Naryar. If you need any translating or explanation you two can figure something out through PM.

Fracture i'm always scared of my oponnent ripping off the extender,  and the wheels i used are mud tires, not fatboys but i gonna change for rubber ones
EDIT: Here is the new Disc of doom

YES i am seriously underweight but i concentrate myself on important things such as remove empty space, make the robot invertible and remove the useless face spinner at the back

Hey man ! It's good to see another french here.

Your bot isn't too bad for a starter, but you'll have to improve.

You don't get hated for having bad bots : that's what most newbies have. What you do get hated for, however, is being annoying, obnoxious, not listening to advice, or being arrogant when you have no building skill. So just listen to advice and you'll get by fine.

You might want to read these tutorials : http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm

That's good learning!

You will no doubt wish to bring your bot up to the weight limit now. Before I say do this, or do that, we should find out what you want from this bot.

Do you want a bots with loads of weapons on several discs? Do you want it to have a wedge? When you get up to 800kg, what else would you like to see on it?

If you want to work on the popup as well, then that's cool.

You don't really need a srimech for rupters.

Use smaller wheels. all Stock wheels are the same apart from size and weight.

Build so your chassis is the smallest possible while still encompassing all the components.

Get your flippers outside the chassis so you may have a chance to get under other wedges.

Build to weight limit : 249.0, 399.0 or 799.0.

Otherwise it's pretty ok.

Im not sure but i think thats overpowered. Also naryar for once is wrong on the srimech.Make sure you have a non rupting srimech so you can selfright properly, as otherwise its screwed if flipped over.

Yes it is overpowered, and yes you can selfright with your rupters. You just need to do it right.

You've got the right idea for connecting weapons on extenders like that, but round ones can save weight for more weapons. Right now, you have a lot of weight left anyway.

It also helps if you make the chassis as low as possible so that it can drive while upside down (i.e. Invertible) If that bot gets flipped, it's done.

An efficient bot (of that design) has a low enough chassis where those shiny wheels can touch the ground either way.
