I was trying  to shrink the chassis as much as possible,  but may be this is a time to size up.  I do fell like the old version was cleaner.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

Apparently I never posted my LW Billy Goat Gruff rebuild. It's prolly pointless now since Starcore left again, but w/e. This one is a bit lame, but I did cram two weapon motors on it, and it's fully invertable.
Also, if we go to a showcase-based botm, would it be a good idea to make splashes for all my bots?  :really_makes_you_think:

The extender work is a tiny bit messy but you don't stand to gain much, so that's fine.

For once the mods did something right

I'm just taking all the images people upload and saving them into a folder, then re-upping them on the thread when the time comes. You -can- splash if you want, but there's no rule saying ya have to.

Bot looks sick, BTW. Really nice and compact.

Great update of the LW Billy Goat Gruff.

I am sorry I disappeared.

My PC died and I lost the hard drive that had my games and all my copies of RA2.

It happened at a time that I was unemployed and hunting for my next job to take care of my family.

I did another PC going but have not gotten back the hard drive.

By that point, I felt bad I had let you all down, got depressed and felt people were not caring about an update to the Stock Bots of the Starcore pack anymore. (Like I said, got rather depressed)

I have finally gotten a decent long-term contract and if there is interest in seeing an update to the Starcore Pack I will see what I can do.

It is something like 15 years since RA2 came out... Is it worth the effort to update and celebrate a game that has hung on and grown interest in Robotics for well over a decade?

I see the Starcore summoning still works.  :gawe:

Hey this is just my showcase,  but I get it. Nobody's expecting RA2 to be anyone's first priority, and we've all lost hard drives from time to time.
As for intrest well, not a lot of people are doing stock right now, but I still have the bots I made, and some people are asking for a stock revival.

That FS is funky, you test it against HS?

I'd guess people would play more stock if it didn't feel like HS/Popup spam to them. If only there was a way to show various kinds of robots in a fightable collection. :really_makes_you_think:

lets be real it's because it's too hard/tedious for some people. u dont need to make a bunch of hses and popups to have fun in stock
