I totally didn't advise you on this, did I? :P
You could shrink the chassis slightly and move the caster to the corner. Other than that, not bad.

Figured I'd better drop this here so Gaz and Ty know what happened to the bot we were talking about...

Looks good? Check. Havoks like a fish out of water? Check. Exposed extender holding everything up? Check. DSA? Check. Nifty? Check. Failure? Check.

Long 140cm square extender is long.

And it is suprisingly stable. When it isn't havoking.

It's a mini Ripblade (restocked anyway) :3

Mount the snapper in different ways and I'm pretty sure you'll find a setup that's least unstable.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

He's onto me D:

Anyhoo, this thing.

Stock VS, why so bad without wedges D:

I need to find a way to protect those stabilisers more- HS and Popups seem to get them fairly often. Might remove the ice picks on the back, and the two central casters (The little OCD part of me couldn't leave them out D:) to protect the top better. And tbh, I'm not even sure I have the weapon motors wired the right way. :L 2 blacks (lazilylovingly stacked by gazea) and DSA.

You were right the first time. Lazily stacked. :P
Looks good, I'd remove the ice picks and protect the stabilisers more, though.

remember, all the round/square extenders have 100 hp, if they take a single >100 pt hit from a hs the entire bot's stability is done for, you need to protect them with quite a few 1000 hp weapons if you want it to not fail
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Slightly changed it- looks cooler now in my opinion, but stabilser protection isn't greatly improved.

2 central casters taken off, as well as the ice picks. Also has possibly my favourite name for a bot, Akantha.

Just to prove I did it-

2 blacks, DSA, Rubbars, 4WD, green snapper wedges. Works more like a VS than a popup/VS hyrbrid, but the popup part does come into play every now and then.

I'm thinking rotating the snoploughs in towards the chassis a bit, and possibly extending the popup part a bit.

I think it looks cool anyways :P

The reason my VS/popup hybrid actually worked is because the VS component is small (so it pretty much acts like a drum and grinds instead of throws) so the popup element often comes into play.

personally i would just use RADS so they dont toss the opponent away before the popup does anything

And what else might it do? Can we stare into its soul, i.e. components? :gawe:
