Seems OK.

Try to get the spinners to spin inwards.

Looks okay, but rotate the extenders 90 degrees, to get the iron spikes above each other, like this:

X
X

Rather than this:

XX

You will strike the opponent with two time the amount of spikes for every hit, so you whould deal twice as much damage on a clean hit.

I'm pretty sure, with a little bit of tweaking to the setup and placement at the front, you could mount the motors internally, and neglect the need for snappers to mount them on. You could also have 3 irons on each tribar arm, if you use a similar attachment to Absolute Chaos, connecting the extenders in an L shape.

Iron setup better?

AI-ing, then testing against Starcore 4 AI. Might get Pys AI and put them into one large pack for easy fighting. XD

No actual idea, to be honest. Just had no other ideas about what I could use the remaining weight for (11.6kg).

Iron setup's much better. ;)

But with the wedge and wedge blockers there, the snowplow seems kinda pointless, tbh. And you seem to be arching your machine off the ground with your wedge angle.

Snowplough protects the bot from HS for a bit :P

Maybe, but it outwedges a lot of SC4 bots effectively.

From the front, you should be fine, but from the side you'll probably get owned

So, I've AIed it and tested it out (and named it.) Here is a splash showing you some of its victories in SC4.

Coming to the next tourney I enter. :P

Time for an amazingly inartistic splash, featuring my first attempt at the stock popup, which has an amazingly unoriginal name. Normally I hate popups, but the HS in stock were getting on my nerves, so I made a popup to try and kill them. (I failed.:P)

Has some awesomely tacky extender work on the sides, but I had no ideas what to do with the remaining 12 or so KG (Casters *cough*).

Has 10 razors, a fact which was on the splash but I must have covered it with the SpiTe 2 screenshot. :P Could do with better smartzone placement.

Grannies usually make your wedges worse. Try to get shinies or, even better, rubbers on. 4 blacks are overkill, 2 or 3 would suffice. Turn your Z-teks 90 degrees so that they flush with the floor. Also, use ramplates instead of mower blades.

Other than that, not bad. :P

Tried Shinies and Rubbers, but with them it barely drives. Can't turn the Z-teks as they are using the side attachment point XD

The way I have the anchors set up, mower blades provide a lot more protection than a ramplate would XD

Would 2 Blacks be enough? Then I could add more razors and more front protection<:D

EDITORIO:

2 Blacks, 20 razors on two DDTS. Possibly overkill on the weapons and underkill on the batteries, but lack of battery power doesnt matter if the match finishes in about 20 seconds, right?:P Oh, and the ballast is there because I had no idea what to do that wouldnt affect the weight distribution. Tempted to put another control board on the other black instead of the baseplate anchor. If only I could skin its name on the front..oh well :P

Sounds exactly like what inspired R4.

From what I can remember, wheel diameter has little effect on wedges. There's a lot of useful stuff about wedges in this thread: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,1215.0.html courtesy of Clickbeetle. This should help.

I'm sure I was told that grannies make wedges worse.

And you could make a decal in something like Paint.NET, and import it into the game. But it MUST be a 64x64 TGA file, either 12 or 16kb. Otherwise it gets screwed up.

Try moving the baseplate anchors down and forward a little bit, and turn the mower blades horizontally. Or swap them with ramplates if you feel like it.

I know all about the decals....I used them on the F1 car. :P

But atm I'm starting to get tired of trying to stack a control bored (hehe:P) in between 2 blacks for Soulreaver's HW popup buddy. Other setups I've tried affect the weight distro badly and it gets outwedged by Soulreaver each time. Or I could stack the 2 blacks and control board together. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh...

DP, how I love you. :D

Here is the finished sister popup for soulreaver..

Much more generic, but idc. Not the version with the airtight chassis- that BOT file got slightly corrupted when I tried to BFE a control Board in the batteries. Haha. This one was much easier to build :D Smartzone placement next, something I have never got off to a fine art..
