10 does not equal 24.

If he lost one razor from each snapper, that would work. And would also make them fire faster. =D
Yes, and switch the black extenders for red ones. So they fire even faster.

How would that make them fire faster? They both weigh exactly the same.

Red makes things go faster.

HPZs are faster because they are red.

(AKA pretty much your standard popup nowadays)

Wouldnt mind swapping this around for iron filings in the best bot builder (along with my DSL entry) since I know hot wheels is in there, but it will be interesting to see how iron does. Doubt gazea would let me anyways. :P

You get turning (x-plane) and forwards and backwards motion (y-plane) when you're driving, but there's very little roll (z-plane), which is the plane of the Snapper's rotation, so I reckon it should be more or less fine.

I would be inclined to space the ramplates out a little more, to get some protection on the corners.

Wouldn't that leave the front more open to other wedges/popups

Not really, you'd only need to move the outermost two over the edges a bit, and space the rest of them out equally between them. You'd have a tiny gap between each ramplate, but I doubt an HS would actually get to the chassis that way.

I think you should move the ramplates apart a bit more and maybe remove a razor from each DDT. 9 on a DDT with only 2 blacks is a little overkill, I think.

We'll see how it does. :P

Running out of ideas for popups now. Tried to build one off of a single snapper, was doing fine until I discovered that I could only put 1 razor onto each DDT ¬.¬

So I made this instead. 2 blacks, DSA, 10 razors.

Wedgier than I expected :D

I knew I'd heard of Phenolphthalein somewhere before.

In my view, I think the chassis could shrink a little lengthways. If you line up all the DDT's the same way, and move the Snapper right back by the batteries, you could probably shave a good chunk of weight off there. I'd also use rubbers, personally. Maybe you could stick some blades on the wedge extenders for some degree of defense with the extra weight.
