Yes a rupting rolo. Unfortunately its a little hit and miss, there goes my RAW2 idea. I've got something new though. Still working on it, needs a little more fine tuning but now that the wedge is decent...

Designed to kill popups. I've used all the weight, can't remember what it is off the top of my head. MW.

Update on the side hammer. Now has a black battery which helps a ton, a nifty cannot power 2 snappers. Not sure if I should go with 4 razors and DSA or a longer reach and 6 razors with plastic. Not even sure if plastic will give me enough weight.

Switching to plastic will not get you 14 kgs. You might be able to make the hammer arms 20cm longer, but 6 razors is out of the question.

I would say go with plastic if it's better with longer arms though. If a bot hits the chassis from the front, it means the weapon is gone and you're dead anyway and having DSA won't matter, and if a wedge gets under you, you're also dead anyway and having DSA won't matter.

I like both of those bots. Quite original. What's the spiked club for on the MW?

Inf: one baseplate makes me run into the 7 connection limit.

Spked club was for a little extra defence against hammers and for when it was upside down, but it isn't even there anymore as I've rebuilt it. I'll have pics in a bit as I'm on the other computer.

Anchor > extender facing forward with other APs facing downward > T connector on one of the bottom APs > Snapper2s with the far end attached to the T connector > extender > extender > razors.

The snapper was making contact with the chassis when I tried that before. I may be able to do it with some adjustment but I need to get to work on my RAW stuff.

This is easily the most active my showcase has ever been. Still tuning this thing, although this version is better than the last. Yes you see a pink battery. Yes I am changing that out.

you dont need those brackets. just find a way to mount the RADs lower anyway for better undercutting.

The plow doesn't last long enough with the slow spinning weapons to make that the only armor.

I am in dire need of help here, if somebody has a copy of Rolo (my MW popup's) .bot file could they please send it to me in a PM? My computer's hard drive died today and I lost everything. RAW2 is my biggest concern, and Rolo is the only bot I need to build my entries.

You could probably ask Ian; I recall you did compete in two of his tournaments with it, didn't you? Though those tournaments were a while ago, so he might not have it anymore.

I'm working on several variations of that bot. So far I have made a face spinner, a vertical spinner, and a popup. None of which are great.

That's more of a personal preference. I like armor on my Popups though.
