You're very productive today.

For an antweight, it looks very cool, although I question how damaging it is. Any good?

Thanks, unfortunately it's not that good in combat. At least it looks cool and is different to all other AW's :)

2 New antweights:

The 3 planned antweight house robots in the gauntlet challenge:

Lead-off = Unicorn, a wedged rammer (wammer). Has 2 pinks, plastic armour, 1 iron and an emergency wedge.
Sent in second = Ugly Duckling, a rammer/horizontal spinner hybrid. Has 1 pink, plastic armour, 1 axe head and 2 rotating razor tips on an axle.
Anchor = Mini - Backyard Ripper, a gut-ripping angled face spinner. Has 1 pink, DSA armour and 2 razor tips on a RAD weapon motor.

The order and even the robots can change any time up until the tournament becomes official but this is what is currently planned as it provides a challenge for all types on antweights.

EDIT:

Midnight can get some good hits in, and can take quite a bit of damage. Still mostly fails, if it falls on it's side or has the mower blade removed it's game over.

plus your dsl aws would be good to replace the sh** thats currently in nar ai

and for the gauntlet were facing all 3 aw's all in a row as one match or each in its separate match so all of our weapons reset if they get knocked off each time ?
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

I used to have some decent DSL AW's, pretty sure I lost them all along with all my old stock robots.

Its 1v1 to start then after a certain amount of time the next robot joins then the last one joins a certain amount of time after that. Same match and it'll be in a new arena that trov is making for these tournaments, currently it's the closest way to have a 1v3 style challenge, unless there's a way to add in a 1v3 match.

nope, it's just using a baseplate anchor and normal extenders.

how do you attach that HPZ up in the air with nothing supports it?
(btw you can just try the tankcat style chaining to try make the bot invertible).
(i'll obviously get repped down again).

That looks really cool.

Besides, that doesn't look generic to me. Never seen static irons on a chained LW HS.

how do you attach that HPZ up in the air with nothing supports it?

There's a vertical extender behind.

(btw you can just try the tankcat style chaining to try make the bot invertible)

Worth trying. See, you CAN give good advice.

(i'll obviously get repped down again).

Have you any idea of how annoying you sound when you post that ? Most especially when it is wrong ?

It seems my repdowns have made you think "all my advice is wrong". No, that's not true, unlike what a majority of the community thinks, and that is certainly not what I wanted you to conclude of my repdowns. Most of your advice is technically right, but roughly half of your advice is either badly delivered, delivered at the wrong bot, or completely out of the context.

You need to THINK and READ THE THREAD before you post advice, or soon enough you will be unable to post in other showcases because of repeatedly giving bad advice.

i like the left one better, mainly because the wedge on the right one is useless.
btw, with only 2 Irons, that bot is going to get deweaponed by the next HS/VS/FS it meets, and you can shorten the extender used to hold the 1st motor by about 20cm, to make it more undercutty and give it more chance against spinners.

A design too heavy for its class gets owned by a totally generic destructive bot. As if that's news.

I like the originality, but I'd try to find a way to get the HPZs behind the lawn mower blades, they could use protection. Not a fan of assymetrical bots, so I could imagine it tipping over when it turns right. Does that happen?

I very much like the originality, the asymmetry ? Not so much.

THE POINT OF THESE IS TO MAKE A MORE ORIGINAL DESIGN, NOT A MORE EFFICIENT ONE ! DO YOU NOT REALIZE WHAT "CONTEXT" MEANS OR DO YOU JUST BLITHELY IGNORE ALL THE POINTS I AM TRYING TO TEACH YOU ?

I'm hoping that originality will spring some more life into stock and perhaps the better builders such as sage, click, naryar and pwn can make them more effective.
