Because his doesnt take longer to move from one side to the other.
Because he has a better chance of facing the opponent whilst being hit, the vilnerable parts of his bot is only vulnerable parts are only its bottom wulst yours are its back, its side and its bottom.

The tribar on mine's more than big enough to cover the entire chassis, so there are no vulnerable points.

@GK who said I was gonna AI it? And I can control it, no problem.

it's been done heaps actually :P and could be beat with a small wedge + weapons. anyways my take on a neglected waterbug mini:



yay for axles on AW's. my version's weapon actually hits other lws, badniks doesn't seem to :(

Fallen hero - An axle chicken drill style bot with a small wedge for getting under other bots and grinding away at undersides.. it's pretty good.
Mosh Pit - A horizontal axle sawbot, it's crap but looks cool :P
Toxic Waste - Another chicken drill style bot with "arms" for trapping, haven't tested it yet.
