You're getting there. This time, swap the T connectors for 20cm extenders. You can attach more spikes for less weight.

Also don't use ballasts. Spend the weight on more weapons instead.

Oh yeah. Use a Supervolt instead and add a Nifty if possible. :P

You need to use all of the weight available.
There's not enough battery power for those 4 Z-tek HPs (4 HPs = black battery, sometimes more (Nifty) if it's drive)
The T extenders are worse then properly rotated round extenders. You can only fit one weapon on that 5kg T extender, while you can fit 2 on a 2kg round extender.

How do I attach more than 2 spikes on the Round Extender?

Edit: Nevermind, I see what you mean now

With that trick, it should be easier to reach the weight limit with that bot.

easy way is to use a T connector on your piston then grab the black extenders and click the green point on the top of it and connect it to the t connector then click the bottom green tab and connect another to the previous black extender, at the end you will find they are all facing the right way.

to overlap weapons on the game wire the piston then grab something like a iron spike move it to the position on the extender but don't click. then fire the piston while holding the mouse in the same place and click before the piston retracts this will place the spike somewhere inside your bot floating in the air after you do it to all go to the garage and back and you have overlapped weapons

Please in the future stay on the topic at hand, in this case HurricaneAndrew's bots. I don't want to have to take the time to clean a thread out like that again.

For once the mods did something right

Yeah, I'm sorry for starting crap in your showcase. That was completely my fault, not yours.

As for your bot, it's much better. You can probably use rubber wheels on it if you can make the chassis small enough. As a guide, to fit most things in, like a control board on top of a black battery, move the chassis height slider up 3 notches (basically, 3 pixels). To fit a bot with a nifty in: 4 notches. To fit HPZ drive in: 5 notches. JB, Redline and Pwn basically touched on everything else.

It looks sweet, but fire axes only do damage at specific points, limiting their effectiveness as weapons. They're also not very weight efficient. Saw blades are pretty much ineffective against everything, but the space management is getting better. Just try to build up as close to 800 kgs with useful stuff as you can; underweight bots will only be at a disadvantage to you.

Yup, axes suck on spinners as well as sawblades in general.

Nice name.

What do you suggest instead of fire axe?

And would a chew blade be effective at all?

Generally, maces, razor tips, and iron spikes are used on spinners, because they are all light and do damage at all points. Chewblades are also pretty bad unfortunately. You would be best off with a disc with 4 maces/razors/irons on it.

What R0B0 and Naryar said. :P

VERY aesthetically pleasing, though. Oh yeah. If you want your wedges to be effective, put them on burst motors and drop them slightly below floor level.
