So pretty much, scrap the redbird with the sawblades completely, and put in burst motors on the wedges. Then put something different on the tri-bar. Sound right?

How do you effe parts? I have seen you guys talking about it and I don't know what it means. And I'd also like to know about stacking batteries, if you don't mind filling me in.

There is no real trick to stacking. Well, there is. If you go into your "overview" screen in your botlab, you can zoom really far in. Zoom in as far as you can, then click the "bot construction" tab. Now, without moving your cursor over the grey space where your bot is, select the part you would like to stack. Then, position it the same as the part it will be stacked over, and move it around until it fits. Sometimes this will take 5 seconds, sometimes 10-15 minutes, so patience is key. Baseplate anchors and pink batteries are the easiest to stack, so try with those until you get the idea.

The eFFe glitch can be learned here. I'm sure others have posted this link already. I highly recommend you use it. It will help you improve immensely.

EDIT: Pwn beat me to it...

It looks cool. Good to see you found the connection point below the tribar too.

But Fire Axes are kind of weak and only do damage in a certain direction (I.E: the sharp cutting edge)

Looks defensive.
Sawblades are terrible in stock RA2. Avoid them.
Redbirds aren't that good either.
It's quite decent on the battery side of things.
Getting rid of the sawblades and stuff might help you shrink the chassis.
Think of adding more Z-tek HPs to put weapons on. The front for weapons, no extra sides.

Then, after you learn Effe glitching, learn snapper loading (in my sig).
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

I think the chicken drills at the back are useless pretty much, and square extenders are heavier, but the same strength as round extenders, so don't use them as they waste weight.

The chassis could also be shrunk a little more and without the redbirds, one black battery would be enough.

Still looks good though =)
Good evening.

The only reason I used the square extenders was so i could see how far I had rotated them, but yeah it's a waste of weight.

Also, is there a way to shrink the chassis without losing all your components? If there is I'll gladly do it.

You can do that with round extenders. If you look closley, you can see they're not actually completely round, they're more hexagonal. Attach one were you want to, zoom in and look at it side on, the hover another round extender over the side of it so you can see where the spikes will attach. If you can keep your eye on the side of the extender the spikes will attach, rotate to desired position, attach spikes, and enjoy!

Seems to need a rather complicated explanation but its really very simple.
Good evening.

No-no. You often have to rebuild the chassis many times when trying to come with a really good bot.

My newest DSL hammer's chassis was rebuilt (in fact tuned for less empty space) something like 6 times.. and that is few.

I really like that bot. Just a little trick: each little "click" of the extender when it's rotating is 10 degrees. So, to rotate it 90 degrees, just rotate it 9 "clicks." You also would be better off with more spikes on the back rather than chicken-ing drills. Spike strips also only do damage on the spiky side, so rotae them as well.

Well, I have built a replica of a robot I saw on some TV show some years back. Sorry, but I don't have any pictures of the original. It is never to be fought competeively, I built it for fun. I don't need any suggestions, just reactions. Hopefully I won't get in deep sh-- with the administrators for posting it...

I just couldn't resist putting "Yahoo!" on it. The one that was on TV didn't have Yahoo!, but there was something in that spot.
