Someone else has seen the light of that side hammer setup.

Having a wedge is pretty essential though.  It's almost impossible to outweapon an HS with a side hammer, and you can't hit their top or bottom either, which means you need to focus on killing wedges because that's the only thing you CAN kill (except rammers, but anything non-HS can beat a rammer).

Thanks for the advice, guys. Sticking a wedge on there shouldn't be too hard. Now, a new bot:

Kay, not completely new. I used the chassis that Zephyr made and finished it off. 2 blacks, caster armour, 4WD... the usual.

Widen the wedges and it will better take out HS... but keep them the same and have a better chance against wedges bots. HMMMM

Needs a blue-hued skin to go with the weapons and extenders.  I reckon it would look pretty cool then.

Some trappers in the front to keep bots from climbing on top of it will also help greatly against spinners.

^Upside down snowplow?

I just wanted some advice on this setup. I used a 90 degree extender thing (I can't remember the name xD) so that the drive wasn't too low down but I know that I'm wasting weight. The weapons are also quite high up although I could flip the HP Z-teks. Any advice is appreciated.

Would raising the SnapperII work? You could flip the HPZ's over then, and the weapon's wouldn't be too high.

15 maces, DSA.

I got inspired by Sage (or marty?) and built this. Outwedges everything I've put it against, from RPB to NWB. Also managed to OHKO NWB.

Gazea, no offence at all, But I don't like the HW... it just doesn't look effective.

But the MW looks Very good.

MW looks pretty good now. I'd be slightly worried about the lack of defense, however.

HW is interesting, to say the least. Good job with getting the wedges so good, but I'm not entirely certain about the 6WD Redbird setup. I'd have gone for the usual 4 HPZ's myself. I'd also try to widen the ramplates slightly to extend over the corners of the chassis.

No offence taken.

Against Fury (SCV4) it did well and managed to beat it at least 50% of the time.
With the HW, I was aiming to create a bot that cannot be out-wedged. The redbirds give the lowest ground clearance with the mini wheels and aren't too bad. It's not exactly the fastest bot and it doesn't have the largest amount of weapons but it still manages fine without them.

but on the hw, what is the snapper in the front of the chassis doing?
And can any of them even run inverted?

The snapper holds some of the weapons. The HW can self-right and the MW moves about due to the weapons when inverted.

^That's the one.
After recent testing, it seems that the snapper at the front hinders the bot. It doesn't fire fast enough, despite the fact that it only has 3 razors. I've completely removed it and this is what is left:

I've moved the ramplates to protect the corners of the chassis... That's about it. Any idea on what I could use the extra weight for?
Oh, and remember that (red)BIRD'S THE WORD!

Edit: 3 blacks btw

maybe more ramplates
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Does it still self-right?

I'd try and get at least one more ramplate on the front, personally. And perhapr something to stop the opponent fron going straight over the top, but only if that wouldn't interfere with self-righting.
