That's what I was testing it on. It won by immobilisation, aka taking of the wheels, Then Jub Jub took out the chassis on the next go. I took out the chassis again, and another time it immobilised me! It's well mached, but now I have an advantage. (I added the plow :P)

tempus fugit
Castle guard
Arial HK
Reaper (Barely)
And It only lost to Scrap box due to my horrid driving.

Hmmm... not bad.

-Rather than the tri connector and two extenders, you can just put two baseplates where you directly attach the Z-teks. Normally it won't let you put two baseplates that go into opposite directions, but if you align them perfectly, they can be stacked. (gain 5 kg)

-Nifty all the way (gain 8 kg). More powerful than 3 pinks and lighter.

-Shinies (gain 12 kg). It can be possible to make it invertible even with external Z-teks if you have the right chassis height. You may want to rotate the Z-Teks so they won't touch the ground.

-I think you can add 4 side razors (at the end of the weapon racks, anti HS defense) if you build really well.

By the way, Castle Guard is pretty much BS.

Try fighting a popup, that will be a challenge.

I hope castle guard get remade in the new Starcore.

I just did, It was kinda hard. I nearly lost all defence, but a quick spin around saved my day. Stupid popups.

Now, My bot usually has a match lasting 3 secs.

It's already invertible, The wheels JUST touch the ground upside down.

It usually kills most HS'S with 2 hits, the most challanging matches are with Axes and other rambots.

I think you can make this easily as good as Starcore 3's Jubjub Bird.

but SCv4's Jubjub bird would pwn that. (as in, its already in the beta.)

Not stupid at all. Popups generally OWN rams. And rams generally have the edge against HS.

Move the baseplate anchor holding on the wheels up 2-3 notches, rotate the HPZ's 90 degrees, and put on shinies. Then put in a nifty if you can and add some more weapons.

Now, Before the Insults Fly at me, This bot is a test. I was experimenting with Starfing Techniques((Misspelled???)) and I had this design inspired by Alcoholic Stepfather and Root Canal's Omni Wheels, I created that... Abonination? I even tested it against the way powerful Starcore, and with it's superior mobility, It survived the whole match with just a few scratches.

Insperation: Mecanum Wheels – The previously mentioned RFL super-heavyweight competitor Alcoholic Stepfather uses Mecanum wheels and specialized motor control systems that allow it controlled motion in any direction without turning. This is eerie to watch, and disruptive of attack and defense maneuvers by opponents. Root Canal implemented a similar design at BattleBots using Omni wheels angled at 45 degrees.

I've made a couple of bots that can strafe in DSL, but I haven't had any sucessful ones in stock yet. It would be cool if you could put a good weapon system on it.

I actually like it, but if you are using redbirds with Omni-Drive, then it won't be very efficient.

Me and FB made a few omnidirectional bots back in the day, and the main problem I've seen is that the sideways-facing wheels slow the bot down too much.  You need to put a lot more weight into the drive, and you don't even go any faster for it--you go slower.  The only kind of bot I've seen that's real effective with that drive setup is sit and spinners.

That reminds me, somebody (I don't remember who) made a SHW DSL bot with actual working Mecanum wheels.  They were made out of discs with a bunch of angled smaller wheels on axle mounts on the edge.  Terribly weight-inefficient, but terribly cool too.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

You could do this:

The fatboy wheels have exactly the right curvature. Also, the Mecanums could probably be done under the weight limit but I bet that the bot would have zero weaponry.

My BOTM and Possible BBEANS 5 entry:

Rabid Waterbug.

The idea was just one of those Newbie Bursts, like:

OMG!!1!!! Sonic and Mario HYBREDZ!!1!!1!!1!!!!11eleven!

Well, As a wedge, it's lame, but it rakes up plenty of points with it's weapon.

Hmm

-Use shorter weapons/put the snowplow higher. Then the enemy bot won't go over your bot if he charges it. Because the weapons are too high for the snowplow to work efficiently.
-Upgrade that wedge. And it can be ripped off easily.
-You can use shinies if you rotate these Z-teks 90° on their extender, plus it will have less ground clearance.
-Weak frontal defense.
-Use Snapper II's rather than Snapper 2's for the overlapping.

depends on the bot. in this case, it wouldnt work because snapper II's dont attach to extenders. im gonna do something about that, cause it says it can in the description in-game.
