Popup brewing, DSA armor this time.

that VS reminds me heavily of swamp demon
I've never seen Swamp Demon before.

Cool. that reminds me a lot of one of my very old stock vs'es

Also, add a plow or a ramplate or some sh**
How about 2?

does it gyro bad on a fast turn? worried it may be too narrow. It bounces and sometimes flops over. I built my bot on an unshowcased popups chassis. Version 2 will have a specially built chassis.
also why servos? Servos look cooler to me. I might have this affinity because of my HBD (Hipster Building Disorder). Would you kindly call the local hospital if I build a 24HS with n12s?

Not bad at all tho thx, I never expect this machine to be compliment worthy.

Got my computer working again. I lost all my old stuff. :/

I took VB's advice and used two anchors for the drive train/stabilizers. I've also attached a ghetto mace for center defense.

Edit: Insides added.

Irons scrape the floor. I also arbitrarily decided to start treating the VS project as a Terminal Velocity rebuild around V3 or so.

Pretty sure you can use just 1 T-connector and 1 anchor for the drive

yeah but then he needs 2 more anchors for the wedges which ends up being heavier

I forgot to show off this robot.

Plastic, the irons and all vertically angled. Getting the components in was a pain. I might submit this as a Scrap Box rebuild. IDK if anybody covered that one yet.

Are you talking about rotating the irons to fit the weapon rack? First off, that should definitely be 2 purples. If you place them between the drive or use a snapper setup, you should be able to get DSA which is very valuable for a small rammer. As for calling it the new Scrap Box, I would like to see a more box-y weapon rack for that

Are you talking about rotating the irons to fit the weapon rack? No, I mean that the weapons are angled, the inner irons are upwards and the outer irons are downwards. First off, that should definitely be 2 purples. It should be, alright! If you place them between the drive or use a snapper setup, you should be able to get DSA which is very valuable for a small rammer. Noted. As for calling it the new Scrap Box, I would like to see a more box-y weapon rack for that

771.9 *insert "underweight" spam here* 10 razors, 2 Supervolts, and some small ballasts stacked into the big ones at the front. I'm not sure if I should get another battery or use the weight on something else.

Try to ditch the ballasts for more armor (front armor serves as ballast anyway). That weird chassis sloping thing you got there is unnecessary. Armor overhang is fine and probably even recommended.

There's probably some other stuff you can do (stuff like better drive placement, etc.), but it's better to get the popup basics right first.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)

Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)

I kinda like the angled chassis, makes it unique unlike most stock bots. You should ditch the ballast in favour of more ramplates and a shallower wedge though

I went searching for old stuff on a computer I used to use, and I found a document with a list of robots. I must've been saving them up for me debut or something.

The first robot I decided to build was described as a "LW Juggler | Razors on the sides of discs | one Nifty | plastic." That's one of the more detailed descriptions on the list, meaning it's likely been stolen from a showcase (please don't hurt me, I was 12). The weight is around 245. While I havn't AI'd the robot yet, my use of the AI simplistic driving tactics gives me hope that the robot is ok.

Gonna rebuild the popup before I keep going with this stuff.

Something that doesn't AGOD. Yay!

DSA, the weird anchor positions keep me from using a better weapon breaker. I also have a version with a 140 wedge and a blade down the middle.

Not enough plows/10 (or, not the correct brown/10)

I'd try to make the front part of the chassis untapered so you can push the anchors as close to the edge as possible, removing the need for 20cms. You could also give it a chassis wedge if you aren't doing anything else with the free weight.
