Ok, after a hour or so of debating with myself, I had finally decided that I will in-fact enter Badnik's Mafia tournament. For the pure reason of laughs and also to learn a few lessons in bot building as always. So for the tournament, I decided to experiment with a HS, a bot type that I'm not entirely used to building in Stock but decided to give it a go anyway. Here it is:

I'm aware that this bot is a little underweight and I couldn't eFFe extra extenders, due to the Rule of Seven in my way. But please, feedback is accepted and tell me what you think.
Note: I've sent this entry to Badnik already but carry on as normal. Also this entry hasn't been rush, it's just the signups close today explaining the name.

No shame in using T or Y connectors if it makes the bot symmetrical (and is lighter than your setup too). Not sure why the chassis seems long. I'm assuming the plow is on an anchor, so my advice would be to attach it to the snapper's hidden attachment point instead (2 20cms would be ideal). This pulls the plow into the casters, which maximizes protection.

And as always, tighten up your chassis. Move the redbirds closer to the snapper and get rid of the space around them. If you can stack the CB into the black, you can also lower the chassis down to the height of the black.

With a lot of weight freed, there's multiple ways to finish the bot. You could add more weapons to the spinners (might have to turn them to razors though), add weapon rack alongside the plow and casters (you might be able to afford 4 maces/irons or 6 razors), or just dump more plows and stuff.

Just want to show this one off, which I've built some time ago. The very point of this bot is that: I finally found a way on how to Effe in a third extender onto a pop-up set-up and looking back at it, I felt like I've done well. This is completely made as an experiment, so it has some easily noted flaws like the large chasis. But Feedback is always welcome:

Also Pwnator if you are on, I had a go a trying to getting the plow of ARB using the hidden extender on the snapper, to overlap with the casters on the front. It hasn't gone too well since I haven't manged to get the plow to be in line with the rest of the extenders. But I'm still trying and I'll post the results soon.

That's a solid beginner popup. If you decide to rework the chassis though,  I suggest making the front a bit shallower.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

One of the more overlooked things in building LWs and MWs is pushing it to the weight limit. While the build is clean, it performs so much better with a shallower chassis. Make a copy of the bot, remove everything, and take note of the chassis weight. You could rebuild it to have a longer base (with the same top) and have it weigh ~3 kg heavier. This improves both the combat ability, and survivability of the bot.

Liking the progress you've been making so far.

Time to dust off this thread by showing you lot my CF, butt-****ery for Wen and the damn war. So after debating with myself over what to enter, I decided to just go overkill with this entry I'm going to enter.

As always, please give feedback and try not to rage about me using Cf, since the tournament allows CF as stated in the rules.

just make the chassis a tiny cube with everything in it since RA2CF is allowed.

And aside from the lighter chassis, you'll only need around 6 casters to protect the bot. You could probably dump in another black just in case.

I'm already working on a new version based on your feedback, but thanks for the help.

Right, this is the new version of Russian Overkill for Wen and the Damn War:
RO.jpg

When I was building this, I thought about adding another weapon motor in, but due to weight problems I couldn't fit one in due to that extra weapon set up pushing the Bot overweight. So is it better now?

I wouldn't be to sure about the last option? My Bot already has about 5 blacks loaded in, which is more than enough for any stock bot. But, I'll take the caster option then.
