First things first, Welcome to the forums! :welcome I hope you enjoy your stay here. The other members will cover the rules for you, so I'll just go on the bots.
Bot 1: A good rammer. Maybe add another rack or two of weapons? And change to the shinies (shiny hubs) instead of N-12s. Also, you don't need to mount the weapon on 2 Snapper2s. You can just mount them on Baseplate anchors and save about 36 kgs. For a good ramming weapon, see this:

Bot 2: Looks good, just minimize chassis space, and could you show us the weapons? Other than that, I like it. :laughing

im liking the first one
but the second one seems really fun to use but also fairly harmless for a heavy weight :)

I'm not even sure if the 2nd one can move, but seems like it would hit pretty hard for a SNS.
If the TC cut back on some of the weight, and removed at least 2 of the 4 Batteries(you only really need 2 blacks for maximum power), he could fit more weapons on it.

If i were you, for the rammer, get rid of the little piece of armour on the back and replace it with more spikes on the front.
Infact, you may be able to still keep a bit of external armour if you tighten up the chasis a bit (especially the length).
-
For the rammer:
-Reduce excess chassis space.
-Move the snappers to the front so that you don't need so much extender work.
-I would change to slipperbottoms (vs shiny hubs and N12s). Their size allows you to be invertible when the height is set to 5 notches and they have more resistance than shinies.
-Rear protection is pretty optional especially when fighting AI bots.
For the SnS:
-Reduce excess chassis space.
-Rotate the weapon extenders so that both irons hit at once (having them horizontal like that deals less damage).
-
Personally I would downgrade the SnS to 4WD and add more weapon motors or something.

First one reminds me of Gazea's first bot.
second one looks...weird...
-
Thanks for the ideas. The second one is actually a horizontal spinner the way the wheels are configured allows it to move forwards back left right and on diagonals.
-
Good idea. Try having it spin though in circles. Becomes an even deadlier machine.

I thought that as well.
Not too bad. The rammer could be improved by upgrading to 6 wheel drive using snapper loading but that is probably to advanced for you at the moment. Remember to read all of the tutorials to glitches and, I can't believe no one has posted this yet, read these:
http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm (http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm)
These are techniques for RA2. Some of them are glitches, others are just really good advice.
For now I would follow everyone elses advice. And, finally, welcome!

What armor?
-
They both have the default armor on them.
This is the upgraded rammer. I shrank the chassis, got rid of the back armor, and added more spikes.

Here is a second version of the rammer.

As for the second one for it to be effective I am going to need to go past the 800 limit. The drive and batteries are just to much.
-
1st rammer. Back spikes work better on the front. Good otherwise.
2nd rammer. Remove all of the extra baseplate connectors in the back. Shrink the chassis to get rid of the space opened by the lack of baseplate connectors. Make the wheelguards come from the front bars.
Looking better already :D
-
Why does the 1st one have a tail?
As for the second one for it to be effective I am going to need to go past the 800 limit. The drive and batteries are just to much.
Or you COULD cut back on a few of the spikes, and just eFFe the drive system.
(You could fit more HPs on, hopefully)
Its what I usually do :3
-
What does eFFe mean?
