I just recently tried my hand at making some more bots, here are two from a new series of bots called Galaxy Bots, which will include the eight planets. I'll probably submit three of them for Gigafrosts new pack.
The first one is a simple LW, Earth:

The second UrAnUs, an okay MW, but it does have some extra room. It may not look like it, but it does fair damage even though the spikes are not facing forward much. I'm not sure if I should switch them to spiked clubs though...

Nothing exciting, but comments are welcome.

I don't think that you need to waste weight on the spike clubs. The spikes are fine, and I think that it is programmed so that the spikes do damage if you hit them anywhere. That LW is good.

Earth- looks pretty good. Ditch the black and switch with a nifty. stack the ztek into the chasiss with a snapper so its invertable. Dont use so many anglers. Get rid of the pole spike and use weight else where.
Uranus- Shrink the chassis more. Use hp zteks and dont use redbirds. The snowplow in the back is kinda pointless, put it in the front or something.
pretty good bots but please change your pictures to jpgs before you upload them. Nobody wants to wait for the bmps to load.

Thanks for the tips, the snowplow for Uranus was to keep it stable, but I'm sure there are other ways of doing that. I'll fix them up later this week. :)

Double Post!
So I started to mess around with the Snapper II's which I have never done before for some reason and I think I came up with a good HW, besides the weight which I don't think I need to use up or I just don't really know how to.
The snapshot is the old version of the bot, the current one is much better.

you have 100kg left over, use it. Try stacking the razor tips or something.
-
Your right, I just wanted to be lazy. :) So I put three razers on the lower tribars and added another ramplate to the front.

Give us the insides of NOS BOT, please? I would like to know what's in the comp.
-
Yeah... I wouldn't mind doing it but I actually lost the file somehow. :( At least I got it in BBEANS, but there isn't anything that would suprise you.
Anyways...

It does okay in battle, a few bots give it some trouble though.
Its nice to have a couple days off and be lazy. :) I tried to make another bot and I think it came out okay. It doesn't have a name though, I guess I forgot.

That last bot is pretty wacky, but I think you'd still be better off with weapons than ram plates on a spinner.
NOS-BOT has NPC's for both weapon and drive, for those who want to know.
-
Hey, it worked on Shebeast. Doom looks like a solid heavyweight. I'm guessing you have it in both RA2GE and stock because of the background on your bot lab pic. The crazy bot is interesting, but Clickbeetle is right, ram plates are useless on spinners.
-
The ramplates were sort of an experiment, but they didn't do much in battle. When I get back to my computer tomorrow I'll get rid of them and change the bot a little bit. Thanks for the comments. :)

Double Post. I'm not really happy with this bot, I guess its okay. I said I would redo it though, so here is a better version of Lime:

Thoughts?

I know this has been preached to death, but using either iron spikes or maces would improve that bot's preformance. Also, try and have the wedges pointing straight at your opponent, not angled inwards.
-
Okay, I haven't been able to play for awhile because my disk got lost but I think I know where it is, I just have to wait to get home from work. This doesn't have anything to do with my bots, but what do you guys think of a tournament with Judges who view the match and decide who wins if neither dies within the time limit? So you would just ignore the points... I'm planning on hosting a Team Tournament after RAW and BBEANS are done by the way. :D
EDIT: Is there any other way to get RA2 without buying it again, I don't think I'll be seeing my disk soon.

Too many anglers. Practice extender work, you'll gain weight.

Wow its been heckuva long time since I've tried to make any decent bots. After awhile of experimenting I came up with this HS:

2 Black Batts
18 Iron Spikes
2 Ramplates/2 Plows
Could use some improvement for sure, any suggestions? I just wanted to see what I could come up with for my tournament. (1 more person needed!)
