Instead of using ballasts, you can use blades or samurai swords on the sides and angle them towards the front (like what you do on wedgeless VSes in DSL).

Do what pwn said, stabilizers are better, you might want a wedge as well.

Check out those final extenders in your setup which are holding your drive. Rotate them in such a way that the side APs are facing the ground. Use 100cm blades and reattach your drive. :D

That's only if you don't want the stabilizers. With stabilizers on, placement of drive doesn't really matter (but putting it in the middle looks better because I haven't seen Nightmare-style VSes in a long time :P).
