What to do when if you doing a long post:

1. Think about what you will post.
2. Type some of it on Note Pad.
3. Save your text.
4. Come back later then and resume your progress. Repeat this step until your text is done.
5. Copy, then Paste your text on to the Reply box.

Other things to know:

Avoid 'Leet Speak', 'All Caps', 'All Lows', and avoid excessive exclamation points and ones at the end of a sentence.
Stay on topic. For example: post about cats in the Feline Thread, and post about Hotel Mario in the CD I Thread.
Stay on topic: threads edition. For example: Start a thread about Tacos in the Chatter Box, and start a thread of your account being hacked in the Forum Feed Back section.
Avoid posting pejoratively if you are mentally angry at the moment. Take your In Real Life time to coool down.
In a Show Case, post constructive criticism that has nobody has not yet.
Use proper grammar, but you are excused if you are Chinese or Japanese:
Proper:
'My bot can defeat Emergency in 22 seconds.'.
Improper:
'That of me bot defeat Emergency in than less 30 seconds.'.
Check for mis spelled words. Use this as a reference: http://en.wiktionary.org/
Use punctuation correctly.

It's not Robot Arena 2 related, but it has something to do with Game Tech Mods.

I appreciate the intent, hard bot, but :

-What the heck is this doing in forum news ?
-This is... a bit short for a "posting technique", and very incomplete for now, but you might want to make it longer.
-You may want to use another title such as "Things to keep in mind while posting".

Also, the first guy who trolls this thread under the flimsy pretext that it's a thread by Hard Bot will be brutally schooled.
This is a promising thread, actually i've noticed a clear improvement in constructive content by Hard Bot. If not for posting quality.

You're not helping.

Neither are you. You're smart, you should see that hard bot is TRYING to be constructive.

No more sh**posting from now on !

Not Robot Arena 2 related, but to do with Game Tech Mods. If this was in Play Ground, it would be a Troll fest.

Edit in first post.

I know he's trying to be constructive and all, but what does this actually accomplish? Since we all already know about this and all new members would follow our lead or get smitten/trolled (playground)/or get kindly shown the error of their ways.

Son I was posting that whoever made the thread. "Posting technique" is an achievement in on itself. it made two words sound stupid without trying.

The thread is better now, and I approve.

Perhaps reword the previous line to: In a Show Case, post constructive criticism. Try to avoid posting critiques that others have already noted.
Use proper grammar, but you are excused if you are Chinese or Japanese:
Ummm... seriously, the previous line is just silly.  Just say this:  Use proper grammar, but you will be given slack if English is not your primary language.
Proper:
'My bot can defeat Emergency in 22 seconds.'.
Improper:
'That of me bot defeat Emergency in than less 30 seconds.'.

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Eh, Hard Bot, you are aware that repeating stuff already said in a showcase actually makes it enter in the builder's mind ?

Excessive repeating is bad, that I'll agree. But some repetition is usually needed.

also no one cares about talking in all lowercase letters

In a Show Case, post constructive criticism that has nobody has not yet.
Use proper grammar, but you are excused if you are Chinese or Japanese:
So are you Chinese or Japanese?

Or maybe I am Chinese or Japanese, because I literally cannot make sense of that first sentence.

I think he just forgot to add "posted" at the end of the sentence.
