Its pretty hard to tell when you have a pm here. The only time I ever realize that I have a pm is if my computers lagging and the page is loading. Maybe you could do something to make pms more noticible? Perhaps like the way the old forum did with the pop-up? Idk if its just me not noticing the pm area.

Go into the User CP and tell it to pop up and send you an email too!

you can also look under "Welcome (your name here)" it has new messages and last logged in

i have a pop-up come up on the screen when i refresh the page or browse the forum and have a new pm.
