Besides, what you call noob proofing I call a destructive tendency. I know for a fact that I was 12 when I signed up, and I knew nothing about RA2 that's worth mentioning. I've had to say this a million times now, but we were ALL noobs once, even if it wasn't here on GTM. We will not be closing off registration to anybody.

Hard to tell as moat people wouldn't give their ages as willingly as you. When you say a tad I assume you mean like I'm guessing 12

a lot of good members joined when they were very young and developed into important contributors to the forum

if the options are give them time or not let them in I think the decision should be pretty obvious
