Every time I try to upload an avatar, I always get the error prompt, being that it's too large or not an avatar. I've tried making it as small as possible, around 100x100 px, but I still get the same result. This happens every time, no matter what type of image it is, JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and so on, and if I try to upload from URL, it'll say that it worked, but nothing will ever show, just like having no avatar at all.
Help?

Post the link here and I will fix it.

I would say that ACAMS is going to paste the URL into the "Choose avatar from URL:" box.
-
Same problem for me, has three been a fix for this yet? :(
-
What is the type of image you're trying to use, and what size is it?
-
686KB, jpg picture... I've tried adding it by uploading and URL but nothing works. If I try uploading it says it's too big or not an avatar and when I upload through URL it works but then my picture doesn't show...
-
He meant size as in dimensions. Try to decrease the dimension size and try again.
-
Oh okay, I'll try with 400x400, before I had 1920x1080 lol
-
Still doesn't work, same problem as I described above...
-
Are you uploading it using an IRL? If so, post it here so we can just check it.

It has to be 150 x 150 or smaller.

You're welcome.

Is the 150 x 150 size limit a technical issue with the forums themselves, or is it a choice? I wouldn't mind if the limit was a bit bigger.

it's because big avatars are extremely obnoxious.

What does it matter?
