Poor Door Stop.
Perhaps something on your list should be to make Shisk not kill its own motors.

For the record having a plow that weighs 6.5 lbs when the rest of your robot weighs 5.5 lbs is a bad idea...

But it works all the time in RA2!  Any good rammer has even worse weight distribution than that!

...Come to think of it DoorStop looks a lot like an RA2 bot, like All Or Nothing but with a plow instead of a wall of spikes.

Mini Phoenix?

Nope,

I'll give another hint

11" stroke, 1.5" dia ram, 2 DeWalts

and the bot is not a flipper

I'm guessing it's going to have a Pneumatic Spike?

What if I was to say that its a complete control style clamping lifter?

(Image removed from quote.)

The smaller "phoenix arm" is the top clamp arm of the claw.

(Image removed from quote.)

The ram is for the main "lifter" and the dewalts are for the drive.

If I finish it for moto it will replace Shish-Kabot in my lineup.

I would make sure the arm would have more points of contact (maybe like a Razer style claw). More surface area coverage=more control

Not quite a robot but still I thought I would share it...

It's a R/C paper airplane.

I still need to get servos for it.

Excellent concept. I'm really looking forward to seeing it work. I take it that's not a paper airplane in the accepted sense, it would just flop about with the heavy motor and propellor there.

Are you sure that's really going to fly?  Aerodynamics is complicated stuff...

It'll be cool if it does fly though.

Hey SKBT, I noticed you aren't registered for Motorama. Something come up?

Moto is the last weekend of the "build window" for FIRST, and I was told I needed to be around to finish the build.

I subscribe to the "Brick Thrust Theory". (the idea that with enough power anything can fly)
