DSL IRL 2.6 Arena is the Hangargames Arena HW (800kg) Format is shamelessly based on World War RA2. 18 roboteers are split into two teams of 9 and once teams are decided and a captain for both have been elected, both teams must decide who will build/enter bots based on the following weapon types: -Vertical Spinner -Horizontal Spinner -Rear Hinge Flipper -Front Hinge Flipper -Axe -4-Bar -Hammersaw -Clamp -Drum New bots are encouraged but nothing’s stopping you from entering an old bot. You have a month to send them otherwise you can be replaced with someone else if you take too long Once all 18 bots have been sent the format is a big round robin where bots fight each other and once all of them have fought every bot on the other team the team with the most points is the winner. Points are as follows: KO = 3 points to the winner, 0 points to loser; Unanimous JD = 3 points to winner, 1 point to loser; Split JD = 3 points to the winner, 2 points to loser Spinner Weapon Limits

2 Large Teeth (25kg, 600DP)
4 Small Teeth (10Kg, 480dp)
8 Tiny Teeth
Beater limits:
6 Large beaters (extended variants count as their respective length)
8 Med beaters (extended variants count as their respective length)
9 Small (extended variants count as their respective length)

Max of 80gs of damaging weapons
Max total DP of 2000
No more than 4 saws per robot
Use some level of common sense if you're going to mix and match parts
Hammer weapons (Beta/Gavel/Gothic/Battleaxe/Frenzy) are only allowed on hammers
Hubmotors are not allowed to be chassis-mounted (looking at you Sheer Cold)
Dual motor spinners are banned unless they’re a proper dual spinner (Shredder, Counter Revolution, Blue Demon etc.)
Axes/Hammers/Clamps
Max of 1 Hammer weapons (Judge gavels, Beta Hammer, Battleaxe, Frenzy hammer, Gothic Axe)
Basic common sense if using other weapon
Flippers
Front/Rear hinges are allowed up to 1 Beta Burst/Motor or 2 VDMA R/P Bursts/VDMA Front Hinged/Storm Burst/Mag Snappers
Top Hinges are allowed 2 Mag Snappers/BSG's maximum, no pneumatics
ALL flipper types must have a flipping arc of 90 degrees _| <- like this
Other
cheatbot2: Overkill motors are the ONLY CB2 part allowed
Clusterbots are banned due to RA2 not liking them
SnSs are banned due to being broken
Spikes are the only damaging weapons allowed on the front of rammers, wammers are banned
All DSL 2.6 armours allowed
Skirts only allowed on dustpans with proper support
Configbots are allowed but only up to 2 configs
Bots that are too unstable will be rejected
Max of 2 flamethrowers per robot (eternalflame banned)
Neptunia.sys is also banned
If I think your bot is crooked I will reject it
Free axles are banned for wedges but can be used for decoration such as Purin’s headband
Bots with servos are allowed, it is strongly recommended you AI them beforehand but I can have a go myself
When AIing a servo bot, it must not use the beta magnet function

- Sending AI with your robot is preferred but not compulsory.
- 1 robot per person FORMAT: - Starcore Arena (floor flippers are disabled) - Tournament format is heavily based on Lego Wars (Thanks David for the permission to use this!) - 30 robots divided into 6 heats of 5 robots.
- Each heat is a round robin with robots scoring 3 points for a KO win, 2 points for a JD win, 1 point for a JD loss and 0 points for a KO loss - the two top robots from each heat will advance to the Round of 16 bracket.
- The remaining 4 spots will be given to the robots with the highest scores not in the bracket - if there is a tie then there will be play-in matches.
- The bracket is single elimination, the last robot standing is the winner: good luck. 🙂

In my ongoing quest to update my older bots I also did some work on Cacophony. First I took a little bit of height off the bot which I think makes it look more proportional. Then I gave it a heavier and harder-hitting disc with two large flat teeth. Lastly and probably most importantly I gave it a proper panel wedge so it can actually play the ground game. The hope is that this thing will absolutely eat wedges if it works as planned.
