anyone else thinking what I am ?

- Storm Team brought the RW arena and appeared on the Roaming Robots Database website in 2009

- Major Damage the House robot from Roaming Robots is on a poster for Robot Wars Live

- Article on Roaming Robots Website contains

Quote
I contacted Robots Live, who didnt have any plans for the UK champs, the FRA doesnt appear to be very proactive at the moment, so once again Im taking the bull by the horns !!

no real facts just throw a few figures into the equation, with Battlebots Back UK might have to do something to stay competitive  ;)

Stag, do you have the link to the page ?

no, that's Roaming Robots, a group who put on events these days. They're who wham's AI pack is based on.

Robot Wars Live is just the term they are using to make more people aware as far as I know. Ask Wham.
My above post explains everything about everything.

I know about RR but:
Did they build a new bot based on Mr. Psycho and Dead Metal or did they took the ones from RW and made them like the one on the poster?

they made new bots

Major Damage and Gripper are RR's, based off Psycho and Growler
Battleaxe, the Dead Metal like one, is from Robots Live

Everything can be found there. Blame the Royal Air Force for the arena to be sold for scrap at about $375 US.

Toro had an unlucky match when the clock was at 9 sec and the bot he was facing was being counted out at that time

Yeah. They were such a fake, trying to get Storm II, who TOTALLY deserved the championship, out of the tournament.

I found that amusing really.
Another unlucky bot from that event was Ginsu, they went for one more attack on Mechadon, who was stuck on its side and lost a motor, and got turned over on its side. I also find Punjar's loss a tad unlucky and unfair cause Voltarc never bothered on letting them go, they just left Punjar on the killsaws for half of the fight.
