I'm on my mobile so I cant retrieve stuff but that ebay link has lots of pics.  If you want my opinion, Siren is a piece of history that we can remember just through pictures.  I posted this link thinking someone would want it but now that I've had more time to ponder, I see no real merit in anyone buying it.

I live about 2 hours away from Crewe, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. It's a piece of robot combat history, but it's also a pile of junk.
can you post a pic? i'm not familiar with it and google won't bring it up
The pile of junk we've been talking about ATM? It's a super heavyweight called Siren who's only televised match was during the series 2 grudge match special
oh i thought crewe was a bot. i dont know a damned thing about townships in england

Not a robot as such, just wondering if it was worth it

If you know any IRL roboteers, ask them if they can cut you a better deal on unused rams.  You never know; maybe one of them has an extra they're not using.

Well I've already been keeping a hold of it a good few years so it's fine. :) what is it you want to use it for? Because the rams in the picture and the one I have wouldn't really be suitable for FWs... Unless you chopped them in half. :P

Hahaha oh well. Do you know Ive bought some s900s for my FW recently? So I'll be bombing around hopefully ramming robots oota!

There's still a ram available I think in the for sale thread on FRA, specially made for a feather.

Wouldn't put it in the box at Moto, but for Dragon Con/bot hockey/learning/practice, this is a decent platform-

Going back to the topic of SHW Siren (UK Robot Wars). It's currently being restored, to be honest for a robot that's been "behind the back of a shed" since Series 2 (1998?). It looks pretty good, I can't say the same for it's sawblade though..

Once it's in fighting condition, it'll most likely be gracing the auctions of eBay someday.

Roger Plant sold The Big Cheese over eBay after Robot Wars ended, from what I found it went for around £500?
(yes The Big Cheese is still around today... Though it's officially retired I think)

15lb robot chassis. Comes with the drive motors, so at only $150 it's probably a steal.

Alex from Team Nuts is putting a one-of-a-kind custom, competition legal UK antweight onto eBay every week for the next few weeks.

This s the first. Looks like a really decent flipper, definitely worth looking into if anyone's interested in starting out - the opening price is what all the components and chassis cost to buy/print, so he'd make no real profit. Decent deal.
