Honestly, the funniest part about this is the fact someone drew a motherfuking Battle Bot.... As a sh'it-tier waifu character. It's so bad, it's actually funny.

The art is good, but the character's... a little bland. Then again, you can only go so far with a combat robot.

...IDK, it looks fine to me. I know I'm essentially anime trash, but, I don't see anything majorly bad.

Oh, and one last thing; Photon Storm is essentially mega evolved Tiberius 4. Didn't see that coming. I thought it was a rammer like Storm II because Andrew Marchant was helping out.

Pilot on May 11th, the rest of the series from June 23rd onwards.

Weird to think that this tournament is over now, somebody won, but we won't know the results for a few months (unless somebody leaks it but I'm not going to look for that).

AFAIK the original shuffler Son of Whyachi was the only version that ever worked properly. It was rebuilt twice after that and never even got to spin up, let alone win a fight. Considering that Warrior was plagued with issues last season too, I am prepared to be disappointed.

So Jim showed Nightmare on Facebook and Nightmare has rotating arms to move upside-down. Not sure how effective it will be but the wheels lost protection. Then again those wedge guards it had aren't very durable considering how Witch Doctor knock 'em loose.

According to Reddit Hellachopper also was DQ'd for being too dangerous. That is a real shame as that spinner looked terrifying. Mantis is also DQ'd as well it seems (Replaced by Capt Shrederator). If this is true who do you think will get in, Ziggy or Yeti?

I was at the full taping of the event, and have been helping piece together which alternates got to compete. This was a much larger event than the previous season, and you all definitely won't be disappointed. :)

Shame that Hellachopper was DQ'ed though. The arena walls are now 1.75" thick and apparently they were STILL too dangerous to fight!

Was there ever any actual confirmation that "dangerous" meant "Your weapon is too powerful to contain" rather than "You've already started one LiPo fire and we're not convinced you won't spectacularly malfunction again"? I'm skeptical that Hellachopper is really that powerful of a robot, or that they wouldn't just be able to turn down the weapon speed rather than having to be banned outright.

Hellachopper's builder left me a comment on Reddit that seemed to point toward the safety officials' perceived instability of their weapon being the reason for their disqualification. There were plenty of lipo fires at the event, haha.
