Not really supposed to be a tournament robot, probably going to make a few non-tournament robots so I can spend less weight on armor, more weight on design. I know the batteries are pushing it, which is why I've wired up the weapon motors on separate switches, so I can toggle one off if I lose the teeth, or the match is going to go the full 3 minutes. If I needed to I can take enough weight out of the weapon mount to add an extra battery, just don't feel the need.

Update: Actually tried to push it to 3 minutes with both weapons running, and it survives. So I guess no battery issues, just kidding.

Looks great, try to make it a bit smaller and remove the side wedgelets.

Not sure how i would make it smaller, its already really narrow and tips from gyro is i turn, the wedges on the sides stop it from tipping at all, they also angle it enough to get better wheel contact and allow me to move enough to not get counted out if i land on my side, without them i can only do a slow circle.

Not sure how i would make it shorter, besides switch to the shorter drive motors, which makes it super slow, or switching to NPCs which would make it taller. Best I could do I think is make it 1 shorter, didn't seem worth it so late in the build

This whole event is just a ruse to trick me in to not using BIG WHEELS

This is pretty close to to what "Mistake" was supposed to be. I took another shot at it. The flipper doesn't work if I'm flat on it, so I added the little bump in the bar to keep it unstable while it's upside down, once it starts rocking, or if I can time the flip before it settles it self rights no problem.

I don't think that's bad tbh

Also just something I want to express about you as a builder, but I admit that you have exceeded me in skill tbh, particularly on extenderbots. Like the panel works you did and the shape. In fact, your panelwork reminds me a bit of Thyrus
Absolutely love the double spinner design.

Thank you guys, I appreciate it. I don't really see my bots as skilled, so much as thrown together honestly, most of them are not what I intended, often just the result of me sprinkling flair on poor designs as I try to work around bugged extenders. At the end of the day, most my bots, don't, and won't win fights lol. A lot of people have nice looking bots, that also work, including yourself Billy, and I'm pretty far from that. I also only work with extender bots most the time because I am outright bad at chassis bots, I struggle too much to size them right, and align everything evenly, I rely on extender bods gridlike method of building to get anything done.

The bot was turning out really ugly, and I committed to it. Ugly bots need attention too sometimes I guess. There will be a V2 without the ridiculous panel work, that will likely be extremely boring. Boring is probably better in this case.

Still trying to figure out how to make hammers.

Made my first SHW, started out as a normal HW so the drive motors are inadequate.

So here is Toxic Hoppin Hoxic Toppin

New Drum Roll wanted it to be smaller and less boxy then the last version pretty happy with how it turned out.

It looks good, and i know it would be a bit less compact, but if you made it just a biiiiitt longer you could make those batteries fit without intersecting the motors.

Any reason you have two control boards?

Looks really good, I really like the theme youve got going with the extenders on the forks/arm/tail. Good compliments to eachother

Been a while since I've used my showcase so might as well use it again.

Had a random thought of making a dustpan drum, so used a colour scheme of one of my much older builds to make Midnight Evo.

That's really cool, I tried to make an extender bot similar to this and it came out complete garbage. I think a bit more color/texture would actually really make it look better. But I'm too lazy to do any skinning at all so I don't really have to right to talk

Made a HW version of V2. 795.2 in weight. Made the forks a bit longer, made the wedge longer, added wheelguard and extenderwork, replaced batt with one long and one ant, armor replaced with St5 IIRC, and added steel shark teeth to the disc

This honestly to me is one of the most "This could be a real robot" robots I've seen here. Not throwing a bunch of colors at it really sells that look too.

Big old vert. Somewhat inspired by Deadgnaws but I tried to put my own spin on it, plus I made it a shark instead of a crocodile :V.

It's currently about 70KG overweight for an HW annoyingly, so I may drop to 2WD to get it in weight. Nonetheless I'm pretty happy with it looks wise, though some areas are maybe slightly unclean.

Edit: Aforementioned HW version. Went from 4 NPC regulars to 2 NPC fasts. Also enclosed the wheels since some people raised that the wheels on the overweight version looked odd

Looks good besides those battery wires poking out of the side triggering the sh** out of me. Can we pretend it was on purpose? "It's the removable link"

A bit of a fun one today, decided to build a pinball machine robot with an angles HS on it. It's absolute crap in combat (slow, fragile, can't self-right), but this is probably the most fun I've had with a build in a long time.

I like it, the button on the front is a nice touch. How much does it weigh?

Reminds me of WU66

Well that's pretty dead on honestly

Nothing too special.  Mostly wanted to improve from Sonar's Problems and just make a third iteration of the Radar series.  I think the speed is much better with NPC's instead Magmotors.

This is still one of my favorite robots I've seen. I just really like the whole theme and skin. sh**s cool meng

Do the things the wheels are attached to do anything? Do they not stop bots from getting to your weapon? Definitely looks cool

Oof at how it's at that thread by me, Code, and Sagaris

Anyway, pretty cool hammerbot. I like how you execute the whole front, as well as the chassis shape

Didn't have a name idea, so just having a bit of fun lol. And thank you, It was originally supposed to look like a battle ship, ended up splitting it in half, since getting split in half is what my robots do now.
