Yeah, I also like the weapon idea. I even discussed it in Discord servers by showing pics and sketches, as well as saying how the system works, with other people with Bild's permission as I think me or any other people, including roboteers, have never seen this kind of setup before.
Basically it's cool, but impractical. Though I'd like to see someone made it on CAD or in real life as a fun experimental bot tbh

Both are still nice though. I also like those anti stranding spikes behind of Blue Thunder II
Peck is also pretty good despite being inspired by Two Headed Death Flamingo and Caustic Canary. Aside from the whole different bot, different color, and different extenderwork, I also think the angled wedge helps distinguish to from those two too

Pretty cool. I like the aesthetics on it

Yeah, sad to see my bot perform that badly. I think I maybe should upgrade it like I do with all of my bots to my modern build standard rather than retiring it. Also, yeah F1 with the fight amount. It got only one fight in OWO before where it lost, and that was when I spun the disc the wrong way

"Balderdash Strength: Invertable"
The 'It's large' of beetleweights
Yeah, sorry. But I have tested it against other bots and as the weakness said, surprised it's a bit fragile honestly

I actually want that qualifier spot idea honestly

Anyway, Beetleweight is up. I'm also willing to get help from people to rehost my image, by having them download pics from me and reposting them on Imgur or something

Nice to see that I won the conference. Looks like the second version of OverChopper continue to perform well, earning a lock in spot to the bracket like in OW3. Though talking about that, the whole Octane fight also reminded me of OverChopper's fight against Eyes On Me. Now it's just Flipper Time and Saw Transport for me

Suggestion: use imgur for 3rd party image hosting (although preferably just host all the screenshots on GTM and put them in a spoiler). Random image hosts have a nasty tendancy of yeeting your images after a few years which is bad for preservation/archival purposes.
Looking forward to the tournament!
Imgur's banned in Indonesia iirc
Actually not. It's only by certain data providers tbh. Also, i have VPN, though when I tried to log in to Imgur yesterday, the page couldn't respond at all, so I'm unable to use Imgur for upload
Edit: Also for what Badger said, isn't there like a picture limit per post IIRC? Because eventually, I'll have to get more than 170 splashes
Or just put all the splashes on a single image per weight class?
No, I prefer that style of splash rather than like say, RG style

Since I get my SBV out and finished all the AI'ing, I will lock this thread

360: Decent 259 bot. I like the disc's shape especially. Not much to say other than clean Agressive Retsuko: Not a fan of how low res the chassis skin is honestly, or how the weapon is saws on HW level like that, and the spam, because saws doing damage like VS in HW level without main teeth feels wrong to me. Also, the side panels look a bit tacked on honestly Claymore: Cool flipper. I like how clean and unique Sabre is, and this one is no different. Interested to see how powerful it will be Fenrir: Cool clamp. I especially like the shape of the head. The extenderworks are also good Galva III: Awesoke Britflipper. Decent color scheme and pretty unique shape. I also like the extenderwork on it too Zayzo: Cool Mecha Rampage bot. I like the color scheme, as well as the design of it. It's also very strong too

So, after a huge delay due to some circumstances, I decided to uoad the SBV of Gladiator's Row. However, it should be noted that I haven't finished all the splashes yet. Instead, I decided to upload the weightclasses on by one, uploading them every time I finished a weightclass

Pretty cool, though the range worries me
Also, just saying, but it seems you forgot to put the attachment in the post itself
Edit: Ninja'd on that. I legit thought you forgot that part

Bigfin: Cool Bloodsport inspired bot. The side part of the chassis is pretty cool because of those rugged extenders, rather than perfectly smooth. The asymmetrical bar is also neat. Plus good color scheme Caution: Clean undercutter. I like how the panels and extenders mesh up cleanly Launch Evo: Awesome flipper. I like the OBJ shape of the chassis. In addition, I also like the color Permafrost: I like the skin, as well as the jagged parts of the support. However, not sure what to feel about the rest, like the discs for example with those teeth Pressure: Great flipper. I like how it's unique and full of personality, with the eyes and shape of the bot. It also looks to be very effective Spinister: Clean ICEWave bot. Nothing much to say other than that honestly

I have found while working on a few builds that I absolutely cannot make an effective (IRL) wedge. Anything I attempt seems just to bonk against the AI (RedAce's Pack) and not get under. The two bots just sort of sit there, bonking.
So, basically, how do I make effective wedges that lie within the IRL ruleset, as I gather components and balancing of wedginess has been improved. I have even been outdone by chassis wedges, so I am dumbfounded.
Basically in RA2, static wedges are not effective for wedging. You should put your wedge on burst life with flippers, or use hinge for your wedges. Also, wedge mechanic is 70% luck and 30% mechanics, and pretty variable, as well as not pretty predictable. You just have to find a wedgy setup, thiugh balanced drive is also needed so you will be able to force your wedge up to opponent bot while not frontflipping

Burg: Clean burger themed overhead bar. Not much to say other than it's clean. I'm also curious how the top plate self righter works Jumping Poison Frog: Also clean. I like how the front plate is done, as well as those wedgelets and the hammer. Nothing much to say Duo: I first thought it's a cluster with what Raven said. But cool clamp. Love the clashing colorscheme, as well as the face and how the clamp is made. Awesome Orc build as always Gamma: I like the face on it, as well as the extenderwork. Nothing much to say other than I like the personality ODB: Good S3 inspired bot. I like how the color of the support matches with the disc. Also interested to see how the Hypno teeth works Quantum Star: Awesome flipper. I like all the extenderworks on it. The shape also reminds me a bit of Chaos 2. The stripe pattern is great too

Unnamed, it's a 4wd vert with a bland af color scheme what else is their to say. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] Also I've been a part of GTM for a year now and I didn't think I would get this much better at building in almost a year.
Yeah, agreed. It's pretty excellent improvement. But then again, I also feel the same tbh with my own building As for that bot, pretty cool. Stands out to me for the steel texture, as well as the Minion discs. Aside from the retro vibe, the panels also remind me of Deadgnaws 2
