Nice. Will send V2 for it on Saturday or Sunday when it opens (in my timezone)

Nice armor mechanism. That will make concussion or piercing, or RA2's equivalent of shock or puncture, far meaningful and important

So apparently this is a section now.
I only just learned how this game works today, but I think I have the hang of it.

So far I've only made 6 robots, with the other 2 just being boxes.

Favorite <----> Least Favorites

As of now, in the scenario any of them go head-first into a wall, they instantly die.
I'm also under the impression that 200 KG is the weight limit, so that's what I've weighted them to.
Well, from what I've seen in Parsec tournies for RR2 (AI one isn't made yet), the weight limit generally follows RL weight limit, with 110kg for HW

They are all cool. Honestly, I'd say your extenderwork skill is better than me and like that of Neon. In fact, I love your Neon inspired build style honestly

Edit: Also forgot to say, but honestly Nature's Defender as CW was made in similar circumstance as Alloy, as I also intended that bot to be a HW, but surprised the weight didn't fill up that much, so I decided to make it a CW (I use Alu5 though)

Nice that you are back Doot. As for the bot, pretty awesome CW VS. I like the sleek shape and the wheelguards, as well as the skinning for it

Pretty cool. Also Etek drives. Wow. That's actually a pretty good use of it. Hope it will be able to redeem itself in a future tourney after it's OW performances

Putting it in separate posts due to size. But first, the PWS5 special is in signup now. To quote what Sevalent directly said:
PWS5 Specials entries are now open:

You may only enter up to 4 Weightclasses, and please leave some of the easier ones, (CW, HW, SHW) to the new builders who wish to join.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ViWoPEo3krr5p7EsPfs-XWBp9zswcBRnUzIJPhJvjBU/edit?usp=sharing

I still think you need to be in the PWS Discord to participate in PWS though as the use of Parsec requires the server's VC feature IIRC. Also, you need to contact Sev on Discord directly.

Also the battlesheet and W/L sheet (both contain spoilers if you haven't watch)

Did I pm you the binding for Vampire Forever?
Yeah. I have put the AI. It's being worked on now

Talking about AI'ing, I have three people helping me. Cringey, Joelcool51, and Bildschirm. After they help me, I will do all the splashes and release SBV as said before

I mean, it'd be nice to make it... legal.

Like it looks cool n all. But I think it be nice to challenge yourself and try it with proper components.
Sorry, i got kinda bored with the standard components and i may just change minor stuff from now on
Otherwise i didnt changed that much stuff in there, i just wanted a round drum thats otherwise pretty much impossible to do it good :U
I'll be honest, these custom shell pieces would be neat for IRL building...something for you and possibly Kix to look at/work on together?
About Kix, since you are not in the server anymore, he has retired from RA2. He get burnt out, and erased RA2. He moves on to RR2 now

Small looks weird with all those boxes sticking out of the chassis. I get that they're to cover up components that are otherwise sticking out of the chassis, but couldn't you make a larger chassis? Or at the very least, try to make the boxes blend in more with the rest of the robot.

Abomination II, to be perfectly blunt, just looks ugly and messy. It looks like something cobbled together from bits of LEGO, rather than an actual robot. You should use a Perm to power the bar: it'd be much simpler and easier, and would make your bot more powerful and better-looking, since it wouldn't have that giant box sticking out of the front.

It seems like you're trying to make your chassis as small as possible, which is admirable, but you're making them too small and running out of space, hence all the ugly boxes sticking out all over the place. It's better to start with a chassis that's too large, and gradually shrink it down, than to start with a chassis that's too small and haphazardly try to cram as much as possible into it.
For what F1 said, agreed. Both bots initially have exposed motor and for SMALL also batteries too before I said that they should be fixed, hence the motor box

So, I have finished signup since Wednesday ago. However, I only bothered to update and finish the entry list now. So, after finishing signup, currently AI'ing now. Will do brackets and splashes after AI'ing. Also, SBV will be up in a while, like one or two weeks I'd say, because I have RL stuff and because of the sheer amount if entries I have to AI and make splashes for

I'm interested with the side event idea. What are your ideas for it first?
I had a few ideas pondered that would just be some sort of one off episodes.  (Also thing to note, the bots would already be competing in Deathmatch 4, and the same bot cannot enter multiple events):

Annihilator: Eight robots compete overall, but four will fight at a time, and once one robot is immobile or the weakest for the judges decisions will be eliminated, and the next bot will rotate in.  The bots competing may either be based on who performed well enough in Deathmatch 4 or those that sign up for the event first.
Juggernaut: Eight robots will compete in a 1-on-1 style tournament and the final two will be on a team fighting against a 2500 kg House Robot appropriately known as "Juggernaut"  Kinda like the House Robot Rebellion.  Only... not.
Tag-Team Terror: While "Tag" is in massive air quotes, the teams will probably be teams of two fighting it out in a classic 2-on-2 style tournament.  Not sure how many entrants I should have, as I feel eight teams would probably be slightly too much for one side event.  Teams may either be randomized or agreed depending on who wants to be partners.

Again, most of these are pitches, but if you do have suggestions, that would be cool to hear ideas that would be cool for the tournament.
Good ideas. Can't find other suggestions tbh. Maybe take inspiration from OW side events

Also since you said in Discord that a player can get two entries from start, imo, I prefer if it's like before, being one per person, seed is excepted from the limit, and secondary entry in case signup dried up. I think this will give more chance for more people to enter rather than being locked out of it because some people are able to send two entries earlier and thus claiming spots quickly

Odd update I suppose, but I feel I should post this anyway.

A special episode of Deathmatch 3 is up!

This is to determine which of the heat finalists will be the most deserving of the seeded spots for this tournament.

Lastly, along with the main tournament, I'm considering maybe adding two or three little side events for fun for the entrants once the main tournament is concluded.  If anyone is interested in them, then let me know then.  I got a few ideas on what I would like to do with them.
